Dan Wakeham

Dan Wakeham (born 12 November 1981 in Plymouth, England) is a British professional snowboarder.

Wakeham started snowboarding on Plymouth dryslope when he was 14. He was sponsored by Santa Cruz Snowboards by the age of 15. When leaving school at the age of 17 Wakeham spent his first season in Flaine, France where he worked as a shaper in the snowboard park. In 2003 a decision was made to join the GB team and set his target to compete in the 2006 Winter Olympics. In 2004 Wakeham signed a pro deal Nike ACG. In 2006 Wakeham was the first British male to compete in Olympic snowboarding in Turin, Italy.[ citation needed ]

Wakeham made the decision to retire before the Vancouver Olympics. [1]

Michael Michalchuk is a Canadian professional snowboarder based in Pemberton, British Columbia. Michalchuk has competed in two Winter Olympic Games in 1998 and 2002, along with several world cups but has been often restricted by injury. He is also notable for being one of the first known snowboarders to complete a successful double back flip in a halfpipe competition, has several snowboarding moves named after him and has at times been regarded as arguably the most spectacular, daring half-pipe rider in Pemberton.

Mark Lee McMorris is a Canadian professional snowboarder who specializes in slopestyle and big air events. A three-time Olympic bronze medallist, he placed third in each of the 2014 Winter Olympics, 2018 Winter Olympics, and 2022 Winter Olympics in the slopestyle event. While filming for Transworld Snowboarding's "Park Sessions" video in March 2011, Mark became the first person to land a Backside Triple Cork 1440. More recently, on April 28, 2018, Mark landed the world first Double Cork off of a rail, the Front-Board Double Cork 1170 with melancholy grab. Mark has also left his mark at X-Games and other events. In 2012 and 2013, Mark won back-to-back gold medals in Winter X Games in the slopestyle event. He has also appeared in many videos for Transworld Snowboarding, Burton, Redbull, CBC, and Shredbots.

Chloe Kim American snowboarder (born 2000)

Chloe Kim is an American snowboarder and two-time Olympic gold medalist. At the 2018 Winter Olympics, she became the youngest woman to win an Olympic snowboarding gold medal when she won gold in the women's snowboard halfpipe at 17 years old.

François Boivin Canadian snowboarder

François Boivin is a Canadian snowboarder who competed in snowboard cross. He has represented Canada at two Winter Olympic games, won a silver medal at a World Championships, and won three bronze medals in World Cup competitions.
