The fifth series of Dancing with the Stars premiered on TV One on 3 March 2009. All four judges from series 4 returned. On its opening night, over 800,000 people tuned in to watch the first show premiere. Rebecca Hobbs is sister to Christopher Hobbs. John Rowles withdrew in week three for health reasons. [1] This series had the closest final ever experienced on the New Zealand show.

Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly returned as co-presenters of the main show on BBC One, while Claudia Winkleman returned to present the spin-off show Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two on BBC Two. Len Goodman, Arlene Phillips, Craig Revel Horwood, and Bruno Tonioli returned as judges.

Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly returned as presenters of the main show on BBC One, while Claudia Winkleman presented the spin-off show Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two on BBC Two. Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood, and Bruno Tonioli returned as judges. Series 5 winner Alesha Dixon joined the judging panel as a replacement for Arlene Phillips. Darcey Bussell served as a guest judge beginning with the quarterfinal.
The 11th season of Taniec z Gwiazdami, the Polish edition of Dancing With the Stars, started on March 7, 2010 and ended on June 13, 2010. It was broadcast by TVN. Katarzyna Skrzynecka and Piotr Gąsowski continued as the hosts, and the judges were: Iwona Szymańska-Pavlović, Zbigniew Wodecki, Beata Tyszkiewicz and Piotr Galiński.
Bailando Por un Sueño: Segundo Campeonato Mundial de Baile is a TV show, where celebrities and dancers from shows as Bailando por un Sueño, Dancing With the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, etc. compete to obtain the Bicentenary Cup and to accomplish the dream of a Mexican family. It began on May 9, 2010 and finished on July 11, 2010, hosted by Yuri and Liza Echeverria. The show was aired at 19:00 on Sunday, by Canal de las Estrellas.

Bailando 2021 is the fifteenth season of Bailando por un Sueño which premiered as a segment on the program Showmatch on May 17, 2021, on the El Trece network following the permanent cancellation of the planned 2020 season. However, the competition will start a day later, on May 18. Marcelo Tinelli returned as host. In addition, the program will feature for the first time a digital host who will be Lizardo Ponce.
The fourteenth season of Let's Dance started on February 26, 2021 with the launch show on RTL, with the first regular show starting on March 5, 2021. Daniel Hartwich and Victoria Swarovski returned as hosts. Joachim Llambi, Motsi Mabuse and Jorge Gonzalez returned as judges.
