Career

Daniels worked as a stripper to pay her student loans after dropping out of art school. [3] [6] She began work in the adult film industry in January 2011 at the age of 22, and was signed by OC Modeling. [3] [7] Her first pornographic film appearance was in a girl-on-girl scene. In 2012 she shot her first heterosexual porn scene with her boyfriend, porn actor Erik Everhard. [1] Her first sexual scenes with men were in the film Dani Daniels: Dare for Elegant Angel. Daniels was chosen Twistys Treat of the Month for July 2011, Penthouse Magazine's Penthouse Pets for January 2012, and Elegant Angel Girl of the Month for March 2014. [8] In 2014, CNBC included her in their list "The Dirty Dozen: Porn's Most Popular Stars". Personal life

Daniels, who identifies as bisexual, married Vic Cipolla in 2017. [3] She has frequently been impersonated online in catfishing schemes that have created fake social media profiles using her name and photos. In June 2018, Daniels was sued in a New York small claims court by a victim of such a scheme, a 56-year-old man from Waterbury, Connecticut, who claimed that Daniels had defrauded him by pretending to be stranded in Ghana. Daniels and her husband countersued, alleging that the man had used the suit to gain "direct interaction with one of the objects of his obsessions". [2]
