Daniel Donche Jr. (born October 25, 1979) is an American author, screenwriter, actor, artist and game designer who has occasionally published under the pseudonym Janden Hale.[ citation needed ] Under this pen name, he wrote Everwind, a post-apocalyptic book series. [1] [2]
Daniel Donche Jr. was born on 25 October, 1979, in Columbia, South Carolina. He graduated from Natrona County High School in Casper, Wyoming [3] in 1998. In 2002, he joined the U.S. Air Force as a member of the Tactical Air Control Party. [4] He is the co-founder of Manarchy Magazine [5] [6] and also created the HexCam [7] and Octavum [8] camouflage patterns.
Credited as Janden Hale, Donche played a minor role as Lieutenant Garcia in the film Range 15. [9]
Donche designed artwork for the Darkana Tarot, [10] a tarot deck influenced by the art of Banksy [11] that departs from traditional tarot design. [12] [13] The deck was featured in a collection of themed short stories on Thunderdome Magazine from June to July 2012. [14] Darkana Tarot won the 2012 Pecto Award for Outstanding First Work of an Illustrator [15] and the Tarosophists Award for best self-published tarot deck of 2012. [16] The deck has been voted as one of the "Top 50 Essential Tarot Decks" by a group of over 13,000 people. [17]
