Daniel Haglund (born 25 March 1980) is a Swedish musician and member of Mando Diao.
Daniel Haglund was born in Falun, Sweden, on 25 March 1980. Already in his early childhood his talent for music showed; at the age of eleven he performed in a family show on Swedish TV playing keyboard and piano. For a few years Daniel went to the same school as Björn Dixgård; at the age of fifteen he founded a band called Butler together with Björn. In 1996, Gustaf Norén joined the band. In 1997 the name Butler was changed to Mando Jao. Allegedly Björn had a dream where a man appeared and shouted at him, telling him to name his band Mando Jao. Björn obeyed.
In 1999, the name was changed to Mando Diao for the band was sure it would offer a better English pronunciation. Band members at this time were Björn Dixgård, Gustaf Norén, Daniel Haglund, and Carl-Johan Fogelklou. During the same year Samuel Giers joined the band as drummer.
Daniel Haglund left the band in 2004 and was replaced by Mats Björke. He worked as teacher giving German and music lessons. In 2007 Daniel got in contact again with his former band, and in 2008 he performed some songs together with Mando Diao at Peace and Love Festival. [1]
Since 2010 Daniel Haglund has been working together with Mando Diao at recordings and live acts (keyboard, guitar, keytar, synthesizer). He appeared at the MTV Unplugged show, and from 2011 to today he has joined the band on tours and at concerts.
Daniel Haglund has three children and lives in the small town Ed (Dalsland). Together with Sebastian Fahlander he is performing as the band "Två Lager Gladpack". [2]

"God Knows" is the fifth single released by Swedish band Mando Diao and their second release from their second album, Hurricane Bar. The B-sides on the three versions of the single in the UK are all recorded live at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston. These live tracks have all previously appeared on the US Paralyzed EP, with "Little Boy Jr" also appearing on the Japan Tour EP and the limited edition of Bring 'Em In. "The Malevolence also appeared on the UK version of You Can't Steal My Love. The song appeared on the playlist for the FIFA 06 soundtrack.
Never Seen the Light of Day is the fourth studio album by Swedish band Mando Diao. The album was produced by Björn Olsson and engineered by Patrik Heikinpieti. It was recorded in 2007 while the band were on an exhaustive tour of the world. Frontman Björn Dixgård stated in a recent interview that the band was dissatisfied with their management and tired of the tediousness of the studios so they recorded the album independently in a small studio with producer Björn Olsson. The album was titled 'Never Seen The Light Of Day' because the band believed that the album might not be released, and thus would not see the light of day.
"Clean Town" is the first single by Swedish band Mando Diao from their 2004 album Hurricane Bar and their fourth single overall. "Clean Town" was released in Japan as an EP, commonly known as the "Japan Tour EP." The EP featured an enhanced section with two live videos from a Japanese performance at the Harajuku Astro Hall. The B-sides, "Hail The Sunny Days" and "Your Lover's Nerve," both later featured again on the Swedish version of "You Can't Steal My Love", the latter also appearing as a bonus track on the Japanese version of Hurricane Bar. The live version of "Little Boy Jr," recorded in Boston, from the Japanese EP has appeared on many Mando Diao releases, including the UK version of "God Knows", the US version of the Paralyzed EP and the German limited edition of "Bring 'Em In".

Above and Beyond – MTV Unplugged by the Swedish rock band Mando Diao is the CD and DVD recording of their Unplugged show on 2 September 2010 in Berlin. Losing My Mind and No More Tears were performed in public for the first time during the show. Juliette Lewis, Ray Davies, Klaus Voormann and Lana Del Rey are performing as guests.
