Daniel R. Chamberlain is an American academic administrator who served as president of Houghton College for 30 years. [1]
On February 14,2005,Chamberlain announced his retirement,effective May 2006. He was succeeded by Shirley Mullen. [2] At the time of his retirement he was one of the longest-serving college presidents in the United States. [3] [4]
Chamberlain earned a B.A. from Upland College in 1953,followed by a M.A. from California State University,Los Angeles. He then earned two doctorates,one from University of California,Los Angeles and the other from University of Southern California.

The UCLA School of Education and Information Studies (Ed&IS) is one of the academic and professional schools at the University of California,Los Angeles. Located in Los Angeles,California,the school combines two distinguished departments whose research and doctoral training programs are committed to expanding the range of knowledge in education,information science,and associated disciplines. Established in 1881,the school is the oldest unit at UCLA,having been founded as a normal school prior to the establishment of the university. It was incorporated into the University of California in 1919. The school offers a wide variety of doctoral and master's degrees,including the M.A.,M.Ed.,M.L.I.S.,Ed.D.,and Ph.D.,as well as professional certificates and credentials in education and information studies. It also hosts visiting scholars and a number of research centers,institutes,and programs. Ed&IS recently initiated an undergraduate major in Education &Social Transformation in addition to the minor that it has offered in Education Studies.
Steven Browning Sample was the 10th president of the University of Southern California (USC). He became president in 1991 and was succeeded by C. L. Max Nikias on August 3,2010. Prior to his presidency at USC,Sample was the 12th president of the University at Buffalo (UB) in the State University of New York (SUNY) system from 1982 to 1991. He was succeeded at UB by Bill Greiner.

Chrysostomos Loizos "Max" Nikias is a Cypriot-American academic,and served as the 11th University of Southern California president,a position he held from August 3,2010,to August 7,2018. He had been at USC since 1991,as a professor,director of national research centers,dean,provost,and president. He also served as chair of the College Football Playoff (CFP) Board of Managers (2015-2018) as chair of the board of the Keck Medical Center at USC (2009-2018),as member of the board of directors of the Alfred Mann Institute for Biomedical Engineering (2001-2018),and as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Chadwick School,an independent school in Palos Verdes Peninsula,Calif. (2001-2010). He is currently a tenured professor in electrical engineering with a secondary appointment in classics,and the director of the USC Institute for Technology Enabled Higher Education.
The USC Rossier School of Education is one of the graduate schools of the University of Southern California. Rossier offers six master's degree programs,a Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership (Ed.D.) degree,a Global Executive Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) and a Ph.D. in Urban Education Policy.
