Daniel Simon (born 16 November 1988) is a German Paralympic swimmer who competes in international level events. He is a World champion and triple European bronze medalist, he has competed at the Paralympic Games three times. [1] [2] [3]
The Paralympic Games or Paralympics, also known as the Games of the Paralympiad, is a periodic series of international multisport events involving athletes with a range of disabilities. There are Winter and Summer Paralympic Games, which since the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, have been held shortly after the corresponding Olympic Games. All Paralympic Games are governed by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).
Daniel Fox is an Australian Paralympic swimmer. He won a silver medal at the 2012 Summer Paralympics and gold medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. He represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics being awarded a bronze most recently in the 200m Freestyle S14. He has won gold at the Global Games, the Arafura Games, World Championships, Can-Am Championships, Para Pan Pacific Championships, EnergyAustralia Championships and the Commonwealth Games. Daniel also holds the world record for the 50m freestyle (24.77) and the 100m freestyle record (53.50) in the S14 classification. Daniel Fox is also the Australian ambassador for the INAS Global Games in 2019.
The 2017 World Para Ice Hockey Championships for A-Pool teams was held in Gangneung, South Korea, from 11 April through 20 April 2017. The opening ceremony was held on 11 April and games were played from 12 April through 20 April, followed by the closing ceremony.

Frank Tinnemeier is a German Paralympic athlete who competes in shot put at international elite events. He is a three-time world medalist and a European champion, who has also competed at the Paralympic Games three times.
Maike Hausberger is a German Paralympic cyclist who competes in international elite competitions, she is also a former Paralympic athlete and triathlete. Hausberger switched to cycling in 2017 because of sporting injuries in her track and field career.
