Daniele Franceschini (born 13 January 1976) is an Italian football manager and former midfielder, who played as a left winger.

Club career

In mid-2006, Franceschini joined another Serie A club Sampdoria. [1] [2] After 4 seasons in Genoa city, Franceschini moved to Atletico Roma in mid-2010. [3]

Managerial career

In February 2016, Franceschini was appointed as the head coach (Italian : allenatore) of Lega Pro struggler Martina Franca. [4]

In mid-2017, Franceschini was appointed as the coach (Italian : c.t. or Italian : tecnico, lit. 'technician') of Italy national under-18 team. His debut match was a draw. [5] His team won the next match. [6] [7]

Franceschini led the team in 2018 Mediterranean Games. [8] The team won the silver medal.
