Career
Silvestri debuted in 1994, releasing his eponymous album. The set received a Targa Tenco for Best Debut Album. [1] In 1995, he competed in the Newcomers' Section of the Sanremo Music Festival with the song "L'uomo col megafono". [2] The track was included in his second studio album, Prima di essere uomo, whose second single, "Le cose che abbiamo in comune", became a radio hit in 1995 and received the Targa Tenco for Song of the Year. [3]
In 1996 Silvestri released a double studio album, Il dado. [4] His following studio set, Sig. Dapatas, was released in 1999, after Silvestri's appearance as a contestant of the Big Artists section in the Sanremo Music Festival with the track "Aria", which received the Mia Martini Critics' Award. [5] [6] In 2000, he released his first greatest hits album, Occhi da orientale, launched by the single with the same name, released in September of the same year. [7]
In 2002, Silvestri released the single "Salirò", which won the Critics' Award at the Sanremo Music Festival of the same year and became a top 5 hit in Italy. [8] [9] In December of the same year, the song received four Italian Music Awards for Song of the Year, Composition of the Year, Best Italian Arrangement and Best Italian Music Video. [10]
Elisa Toffoli , performing under the mononym Elisa, is an Italian singer-songwriter. She is one of few Italian musicians to write and record mainly in English. She draws inspiration from many genres such as pop, alternative rock, electronica and trip hop. In Europe she is perhaps most recognised for the single "Come Speak to Me", while American audiences may recognise the song "Dancing" as featured in both the 2006 and 2007 seasons of So You Think You Can Dance. On 18 December 2012, her collaboration with Ennio Morricone, "Ancora qui", was featured on Quentin Tarantino's film, Django Unchained and its soundtrack album, which was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media.
Samuele Bersani is an Italian singer-songwriter. He received the "Mia Martini" Critics Award at the Sanremo Music Festival in 2000 and in 2012, with the songs "Replay" and "Un pallone", respectively. His best known songs also include "Giudizi universali", released in 1997 and certified in 2017 as a platinum-selling single by the Federation of the Italian Music Industry, and "Spaccacuore", which was later covered by Italian singer Laura Pausini.
Emanuela Trane, stage name "Dolcenera" [ˌdoltʃeˈneːra], is an Italian singer, songwriter and actress. She rose to fame in 2003, after winning the newcomers' section of the Sanremo Music Festival, but she achieved commercial success in Italy only in 2005, when she won the music-based reality show Music Farm and she released her second album, Un mondo perfetto. He won the Sanremo Music Festival in 2013 and again in 2023, therefore representing Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest in both years, respectively.

Noemi performed songs for the soundtrack of Italian films Women vs. Men and Domani è un altro giorno, receiving a special Nastro d'Argento award in 2019.

Maria Chiara Fraschetta, better known by her stage name Nina Zilli, is an Italian singer-songwriter. After releasing her debut single "50mila", she achieved commercial success with the album Sempre lontano, released after participating in the newcomers' section of the Sanremo Music Festival 2010. During the Sanremo Music Festival 2012, Zilli was chosen to represent Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan, where she placed 9th with the song "L'amore è femmina ", included in her second studio album. Zilli returned to the Sanremo Music Festival in 2015, and competed with the song "Sola" from her upcoming album, Frasi&Fumo. She was also a judge of Italia's Got Talent from 2015 to 2017.

He released his debut album in 2000 and he achieved commercial success in 2007, after winning the Newcomers' Section of the Sanremo Music Festival with his entry "Pensa". The song became a number-one hit in Italy, while the album with the same title was certified gold by the Italian Music Industry Federation.

Michele Zarrillo is an Italian singer-songwriter. He is mainly known for hits such as "Una rosa blu", "Cinque giorni", L'elefante e la farfalla and "La notte dei pensieri". In 1987 he won the Sanremo Music Festival, competing in the newcomers' section. Zarrillo took part in the competition several other times, the last time in 2017 with the song "Mani nelle mani" . He took part in Sanremo's competition 13 times, but only won once, as stated above.
The Sanremo Music Festival 2013 was the 63rd annual Sanremo Music Festival, a televised song contest held at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, Liguria, between 12 and 16 February 2013 and broadcast by Rai 1. The show, presented by Fabio Fazio with Italian comedy actress Luciana Littizzetto, featured two different competitions. The Big Artists section included 14 established Italian artists, competing with two songs each. During the semi-finals, a song for each artist was eliminated as a result of votes received by public and journalists. On 16 February 2013, Marco Mengoni, based on a combination of televotes and points awarded by a jury, was announced the winner of the competition, with his song "L'essenziale". The Newcomers' section featured eight songs performed by debuting or little known artists. On 13 and 14 February 2013, music journalists and televotes determined the four finalists of the competition. The final winner of the Newcomers' section, Antonio Maggio with the song "Mi servirebbe sapere", was announced on 15 February 2013, based on points awarded by a jury and on televotes.
