Danish Abrar (5 January 1984) is an Indian politician. He was elected to the 15th Rajasthan Assembly from Sawai Madhopur. He is a member of the Indian National Congress. He is the son of Abrar Ahmed. [1] He did Bachelor of Commerce from Delhi University in 2005. [2]

It is a formidable fort having been a focal point of the historical developments of Rajasthan. The fort was constructed by Nagil Jat ruler Raja Sajraj Singh Nagil and later captured by several Rajput dynasties including Hada and Mewar and then the Delhi Sultanate captured it for a brief time. The fort provides a panoramic view of the surrounding Ranthambore National Park and is now a popular tourist attraction.

He has served as a cabinet minister and held the portfolio of food and civil supplies. He was the only Independent Lok Sabha MP from Rajasthan in 15th Lok Sabha.

Narendra Kanwar, or Rajmata, is a politician from the Indian state of Rajasthan. Born in Dhanla, Jodhpur, she started her political career in 1993 when she won the Sawai Madhopur seat as an independent. She supported veteran leader Bhairon Singh Shekhawat in his government formation and became the Minister of State for Tourism, Art and Culture, Archaeology, and Women and Child Welfare. Kanwar was the first female member of Rajasthani Royal Rajput Family to become a minister when, as an independent, she defeated Yasmin Abrar, the wife of then Union Minister Abrar Ahmed. She left politics in the year 2003, but later rejoined in 2007.

He defeated former member of parliament and former Indian cricket team captain Mohammad Azharuddin by a margin of 1,48,000 votes. In the recent 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he won by defeating ex-cabinet minister Namo Narayan Meena by 1,1100 votes. He was a former independent member of the Haryana Legislative Assembly in the Sohna Vidhan Sabha Constituency from 2004 to 2009. He won the Sohna seat independently by defeating political stars of the Congress Party and others.
