The Danish Thundersport Championship (DTC) was a Danish sports car racing series held from 2012 to 2019. It was administered by DTC Motorsport A / S (DTC A / S), and ran according to DASU regulations. The series featured American muscle cars of the CCRMK1 type. DTC took over the abbreviation from the Danish Touringcar Championship. [1]

Jan Ellegaard Magnussen is a Danish professional racing driver and was a factory driver for General Motors until the end of the 2020 season. He has competed in Championship Auto Racing Teams (CART), NASCAR, the FIA Formula One World Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) was a touring car racing series based in Sweden, but also with rounds in Norway. They began operating in 1996, heavily influenced by the British Touring Car Championship and the success of BTCC racing on Swedish television. There are also a number of support classes that compete with their races alongside STCC; Radical, the Camaro Cup, Superkart, Pro Superbike, the JTCC and the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia. The final STCC season was in 2010, as the series merged with the Danish Touringcar Championship to form the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship.
The Deutsche Tourenwagen Cup was a yearly motorsport series in Germany and some surrounding countries. The series has been running since 1995 and was folded in 2017.
Jason Watt is a Danish racing driver. Watt enjoyed a fruitful karting career before moving into Formula Ford in 1992. He graduated to the British Formula Vauxhall Lotus Winter Series in 1993, winning the championship, as well as winning the following years Brands Hatch Formula Ford Festival, and British Formula Ford championship.

For the first two years it was known as the Danish Touring Car Challenge. The final DTC season was in 2010, as the series merged with the Swedish Touring Car Championship to form the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship.
Michael Carlsen is a Danish auto racing driver. Since its inaugural season in 1999 he has competed in the Danish Touring Car Championship. He is twice champion of the DTC in both 2000 and 2001 for his own Team Carlsen BP in a Peugeot 306. In his last full season in the DTC in 2008, raced in a Peugeot 407.
Kurt Thiim is a Danish race car driver. After his karting career he raced in single-seaters from 1978 to 1984 before moving to the DTM. He won the championship in his debut year in 1986 driving a Rover Vitesse, and raced an Alfa Romeo 75 in 1987. Despite not winning a second title, he remained one of the series' top drivers for the next decade as a Mercedes-Benz driver. He joined the AMG team in 1988, then Zakspeed in 1992, and returned to AMG in 1996, resulting runner-up in 1992, third in 1990, fourth in 1989 and 1995, fifth in 1994, and sixth in 1993. He collected 19 wins during his DTM career.
FDM Jyllands-Ringen is a motor racing circuit in Resenbro, near Silkeborg in Denmark. The circuit was extended from 1.475 km (0.917 mi) to 2.300 km (1.429 mi) in 2003, by linking the track to an adjacent oval circuit. Jyllands-Ringen hosted regular rounds of the Danish Touringcar Championship. It will host three rounds of the new TCR Denmark Touring Car Series.
The 2010 Swedish Touring Car Championship season was the 15th and last Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) season. Four of the race weekends were held together with the Danish Touring Car Championship and the results from these races also counted towards the Scandinavian Touring Car Cup. From 2011, the new Scandinavian Touring Car Championship replaced both the Swedish and the Danish Touring Car Championships.

Lasse Lorentz Sørensen is a Danish professional racing driver. He currently competes in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, driving the No. 66 Chevrolet Camaro for DF1 Racing in both the Elite 1 and Elite 2 class and is the defending Elite 2 Champion. Sørensen won the French F4 Championship in 2014 and has competed in categories such as Formula Ford Denmark and Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 in the past.
Jens Reno Møller is a Danish racing driver currently competing in the TCR International Series. Having previously competed in the Danish Touringcar Championship, European Touring Car Cup and Le Mans Series amongst others.
The 2020 TCR Denmark Touring Car Series is the inaugural season of the TCR Denmark Touring Car Series. The season started on the 18/19 April at Jyllandsringen and will end on the 10/11 October at Padborg Park.
