Danny Pang Phat (born 1965) is one of the Pang brothers. The twin brothers Oxide and Danny Pang started their career in Hong Kong, where Oxide worked as colourist and Danny as editor. After moving to Bangkok, Oxide made Who Is Running? which was edited by Danny. Bangkok Dangerous is the first film in which the brothers combine their talents.

Career

Pang started his career as an editor working on numerous Hong Kong films such as The Storm Riders and the Infernal Affairs series, he also wrote and directed Neung Buak Neung Pen Soon (also known as 1+1=0 or Nothing To Lose), which was released in 2002. He also directed the Chinese horror thriller The Strange House. [1]

Danny Pang Phat and Oxide Pang Chun, collectively known as the Pang Brothers, are a filmmaking duo of screenwriters and film directors. The pair are twins, born in Hong Kong in 1965. Among their films is the hit Asian horror film, The Eye, which has spawned two sequels, as well as a Hollywood version also titled The Eye and a Hindi film called Naina. Besides working in Hong Kong, the pair frequently work in the Thai film industry, where they made their directorial debut as a team, Bangkok Dangerous.

The Storm Warriors is a 2009 Hong Kong wuxia fantasy film produced and directed by the Pang brothers. It is the second live-action film adaptation of artist Ma Wing-shing's manhua series Fung Wan, following the 1998 film The Storm Riders. The Storm Warriors is based on Fung Wan's Japanese Invasion story arc The Death Battle. Ekin Cheng and Aaron Kwok respectively reprise their roles as Wind and Cloud, who this time find themselves up against Lord Godless, a ruthless Japanese warlord bent on invading China. Perhaps one of the best films for C-horror is The Eye directed by the Pang brothers which was later remade.

Chan Yat Ling, known in the West as Isabel Chan or Yat Ling Chan, is a Malaysian Chinese actress based in Hong Kong. Chan Yat Ling is the Cantonese equivalent of her Mandarin Chinese name. She has been active as a Cantonese language performer since 1998 and has taken part in films, radio, television and advertising work. She was featured in several films directed by Pang Ho-Cheung, including the romantic comedy Love in a Puff.
