Daphne Willis (born March 10, 1987) is a singer and songwriter residing in Los Angeles, California.
Willis was born in San Antonio, Texas in 1987. Willis grew up in a musical family. Her mother studied classical vocal performance at the University of Texas where her father was an audio engineering major and worked at CBS Records/Sony Music for more than 30 years. [1] The Willis family moved to Chicago, Illinois in 1989 where Willis attended grade school and then studied English and Secondary Education at DePaul University. [2]
Willis began singing at a young age but did not start playing guitar until her high school years. [3] As a student at DePaul, Willis began performing at open mics, which progressed to ongoing local Chicago performances and, eventually, the decision to leave school and go on the road. A touring band was formed and Willis toured extensively performing over 200 shows a year across the Midwest. In September 2007, Willis' first EP Matter of Time was released independently. [4]
Vanguard Records head Kevin Welk heard one of Willis' songs on an American Airlines flight and sent A&R rep Gary Paczosa to Chicago to meet her. [5] After signing a deal with Vanguard Records in 2008, Willis released her second EP, Exhibit A. In the latter half of 2009, Willis headed for the Tennessee hills to begin writing and recording her first full-length album. What to Say was released in 2010. The album was co-produced by Tim Lauer and Grammy Award-winning Gary Paczosa. [6] "My Shoes", a track from this record was featured on ABC's Switched at Birth . [7]
Album number two, Because I Can, was produced by Tim Lauer and released in 2011 on Vanguard Records. [8] Shortly after the release, Willis was interviewed on NPR's Weekend Edition Saturday with Host Scott Simon. [1] Because I Can reached the #2 spot on iTunes Top 40 Singer/Songwriter Chart. The track titled "Sad" was featured on the CW Network One Tree Hill . [9] Trevor Hall makes a guest appearance on the track titled "Circumstances".
Willis parted ways with Vanguard in early 2012 and produced an independent CD, Live to Try, in 2014, which was largely co-written with John Oates, who also plays guitar and sings on the album.
In 2015, Willis signed a publishing deal with Sony ATV. In the fall of 2015, she released an EP, Get It, featuring the hit single Done With Being Done, co-written with Meghan Trainor.
Switchfoot is an American rock band from San Diego, California. The band's members are Jon Foreman, Tim Foreman, Chad Butler, and Jerome Fontamillas. After early successes in the Christian rock scene, Switchfoot first gained mainstream recognition with the inclusion of four of their songs in the 2002 movie A Walk to Remember. This recognition led to their major label debut, The Beautiful Letdown, which was released in 2003 and featured the hits "Meant to Live" and "Dare You to Move". The album sold over 2.6 million copies. Neko Richelle Case is an American singer-songwriter and member of the Canadian indie rock group the New Pornographers. Case has a powerful, untrained contralto voice, which has been described by contemporaries and critics as a "flamethrower," "a powerhouse [which] seems like it might level buildings," "a 120-mph fastball," and a "vocal tornado". Jhené Aiko Efuru Chilombo is an American singer and songwriter. Aiko embarked on her music career contributing vocals and appearing in music videos for R&B group B2K. In an effort to promote and cultivate a following for her, she was marketed as B2K member Lil' Fizz's cousin; she is not actually related to him. In 2003, Aiko was set to release her debut album, My Name Is Jhené, through her labels Sony, The Ultimate Group and Epic; however, the album was never released, and Aiko asked to be released from the label in order to continue her education.

This is the discography of American singer Bethany Joy Lenz, documenting albums, singles and music videos released by Lenz. Lenz released her first album at the age of 21, after her exit from the soap Guiding Light. She then experienced success with her second album produced by her friend Jeff Cohen and sold during the OTH tour in which she performed with some co-stars from One Tree Hill. Her third album, produced by Ron Aniello, never came to life due to changes behind the label Epic Records. She then teamed up with her friend Amber Sweeney to create the duet Everly in 2008. After three albums and four years of collaboration, the band split. Soon after that, Lenz released her fourth solo album produced once again by her friend Ron Aniello, and sold during the "Rock the Schools" Concert. A year later Jeff Cohen produced her fifth solo album which was sold to attendees of the One Tree Hill Convention "From Wilmington to Paris" and later 500 autographed first edition copies of the CD were sold on Etsy. In 2015, she released a sneak peek EP of an upcoming album through Kickstarter but the hard copies promised to the backers were sent 2 years later, and the full album never came to life due to legal proceedings with the creator of the project. She then teamed up with artists Daniel Shyman & Doo Crowder to release two songs for Christmas 2015. And they went on tour during summer 2016 under the name of "Joy Lenz and the Fire pit Band". On December 16, 2020 she released her first solo Christmas EP entitled "Snow" produced by Mike Bundlie and released by Poets Road Records.
Fijian-born Australian singer and songwriter Paulini has released four studio albums, one extended play, nineteen singles, and twelve music videos. Paulini placed fourth on the first season of Australian Idol in 2003, and subsequently signed a recording contract with Sony BMG Australia. Her debut studio album, One Determined Heart (2004), debuted at number one on the ARIA Albums Chart, where it remained for two consecutive weeks, and was certified platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) for shipments of 70,000 copies. Its lead single "Angel Eyes" remained at number one on the ARIA Singles Chart for three consecutive weeks and was also certified platinum, while the second single "We Can Try" peaked at number 30. Paulini followed with the release of her debut EP, Amazing Grace: Songs for Christmas (2004), which peaked at number 70.
Sarah Ellen Jarosz is an American singer-songwriter from Wimberley, Texas. Her debut studio album, Song Up in Her Head, was released in 2009 and the song "Mansinneedof" was nominated for a Grammy Award in the category of Best Country Instrumental Performance. Her second studio album, Follow Me Down, released in 2011, received a Song of the Year nomination from the Americana Music Association's 2012 Honors and Awards. Her third studio album, Build Me Up from Bones, was released on September 24, 2013 through Sugar Hill Records. Build Me Up from Bones was nominated for Best Folk Album at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, and its title track was nominated for Best American Roots Song. In 2016, Jarosz released her fourth studio album, Undercurrent. The album won two Grammy Awards.

In 2015, she released her second album, Kiddo. Three years later, in 2018, she released her third album, Sway.
