Darragh Kenny (born 24 January 1988) is an Irish equestrian who competes in the sport of show jumping. [2]

He competed in his first Grand Prix at the age of 14. [3] He qualified for the Dublin Horse Show [ when? ]where he won a training bursary to work with Missy Clark and John Brennan at their North Run Stables in Warren, Vermont in 2007, which brought him to America to compete at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida. [4] Under Clark's guidance, Kenny was given the rides on Obelix and Gael Force, horses that he qualified for his first FEI World Cup Finals on and continued to campaign at the highest level including representing Ireland in Nations Cup events. [5]

In 2012, Kenny founded Oakland Ventures LLC, a business covering his riding and training of clients. [6] Kenny was partnered with Hyperion Stud through 2019. [7]

In 2021, Kenny made his Olympic debut at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympic Games. He and his mount, VDL Cartello placed seventeenth in the individual competition. [8]

On 24 July 2024, Kenny and VDL Cartello replaced Bertram Allen as Ireland's travelling reserve rider at the 2024 Paris Olympic games. [9]

He represented Britain at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, 2009 European Championships in Windsor, 2012 London Olympics, 2016 Rio Olympics, the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and the 2024 Paris Olympics. He won the team jumping gold at the London Olympics with Team GB, their first team jumping gold medal for 60 years, an individual gold for Great Britain at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and team jumping gold again at the 2024 Paris Summer Games. That win tied him with three-day eventer Richard Meade and dressage rider Charlotte Dujardin as the most successful British Olympic equestrians.

Allen is the youngest winner of a Grand Prix on the Longines Global Champions Tour, and was a team gold medalist at the 2017 European Championship in Gothenburg.

Over an eight-year show career, Tinka's Boy won 26 international Grand Prix events and over 2 million Swiss Francs in prize money. He stood just under 16hh.

Ioli Mytilineou is a Greek equestrian competing in show jumping. She is the daughter of Olympic show jumper Hannah Roberson-Mytilinaiou. She competed at the 2022 FEI World Equestrian Games and at the 2021 and 2023 European Championships in Riesenbeck and Milan. She is currently the highest ranked Greek rider in the FEI World Ranking in Show-Jumping.
