The Avalanches are an Australian electronic music group formed in Melbourne in 1997. They are known for their studio albums Since I Left You (2000), Wildflower (2016), and We Will Always Love You (2020), as well as their live and recorded DJ sets. The group currently consists of Robbie Chater and Tony Di Blasi.
Gerling were an Australian electronica, alternative rock trio formed in 1993. From early 1997 the members were Darren Cross on guitar and lead vocals, Presser on drums and Burke Reid on guitar and vocals. Their second album, When Young Terrorists Chase the Sun, reached the ARIA Albums Chart top 50. It provided a top 50 single, "Dust Me Selecta". The group disbanded in 2007.
1200 Techniques are an Australian hip hop group formed in 1997 in Melbourne, Australia, consisting of DJ Peril as producer, percussionist, DJ; N'fa Forster-Jones as lead vocalist and Kemstar as lead guitarist. Whilst primarily being in the genre of hip hip, they drew influences from other genres including rock, funk, soul, electro, drum and bass, electro jazz and breakbeat. They released their debut studio album, Choose One, in March 2002.
"Rock DJ" is a song by English singer and songwriter Robbie Williams, featured on his third studio album, Sing When You're Winning (2000). The song was released on 31 July 2000 as the lead single from the album. Darren James Mew, better known as Darren Styles, is an English record producer, DJ, singer and songwriter from Colchester, England. Originally a member of the breakbeat hardcore group DJ Force & The Evolution, Styles found success during the 1990s as one half of Force & Styles. The duo were pioneers of happy hardcore and wrote several well-known songs such as "Heart of Gold", "Pretty Green Eyes" and "Paradise & Dreams".
Sam Littlemore, also known as Sam La More, is an Australian record producer, songwriter and recording artist working in Sydney and Los Angeles. Littlemore, a member of dance music trio Pnau, is best known for being involved in the production of "What You Waiting For?" His self-titled debut studio album, Flume, was released on 9 November 2012 to positive reviews, topping the ARIA Albums Chart and reaching double-platinum accreditation in Australia. Flume is regarded as the pioneer of future bass who helped popularize the genre.
Nina Elizabeth Agzarian, known professionally by her stage name Nina Las Vegas, is an Australian radio host, DJ and music producer. From 2009 to 2014 she was the host of House Party on national radio station Triple J. She released compilation albums, House Party Volume 1 and House Party Volume 2, which appeared on the ARIA Charts. In 2015 she started her own music recording label "NLV Records". Las Vegas is also signed to the label.
Darren Richard Seltmann is an Australian singer-songwriter, musician and producer. He was a co-founder of Australian electronic music group, the Avalanches, in 1997, and appeared on their debut album, Since I Left You (2000). He married Sally Russell, who performed as New Buffalo, in 2003. He left the Avalanches in 2006 after the birth of the couple's first child. At the APRA Music Awards: Screen Music Awards of 2016, together with Sally, he won Best Original Song Composed for the Screen for "Dancing in the Darkness", which was used in the TV comedy series, The Letdown (2016). The couple issued a soundtrack album, The Letdown , in March 2020.
Stephen Allkins, known professionally as [Love] Tattoo is an Australian DJ and music producer. He is best known for his 2001 single "Bass Has Got Me Movin'".
