Darwin's 97 Seven is a radio station that aims to broadcast the Christian message of salvation to the Greater Darwin and Palmerston region [1] and now even to the Rural areas extending past Humpty Doo. Along with broadcasting a wide variety of Christian music and secular music, 97 Seven carries content [2] from other Christian radio stations and ministries including Focus on the Family, Adventures in Odyssey and 'Enjoying Everyday Life'.

There are two types of radio network currently in use around the world: the one-to-many broadcast network commonly used for public information and mass-media entertainment, and the two-way radio type used more commonly for public safety and public services such as police, fire, taxicabs, and delivery services.
