Daryl Cobb is an American author of children's books. [1]
Kirkus Reviews , in 2013, called Cobb's children's novel Baseball, Bullies & Angels "required reading for kids and parents." [2] In 2014, Baseball, Bullies & Angels [3] was endorsed by Stand For the Silent, [4] a non-profit anti-bullying organization in the United States. [4]
While attending Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, Cobb studied theater and music he also learned to play the guitar. He has acted in stage productions including Biloxi Blues by Neil Simon and Fifth of July by Lanford Wilson. [5]
Cobb was born December 5, 1961, in Utica, New York. He is the second of five children of Edward John Cobb, a retired high school math teacher, and Jacqueline Lee Bostwick, a homemaker and retired Methodist Minister. [6] [7] The family resided in Hampton, New Jersey in Hunterdon County, where Cobb attended Hampton Public School [8] and graduated from North Hunterdon High School in 1979. [7] Cobb married Joanne M. Salimbeno on November 13, 1993. [7] They have two children together. [7] [8] Cobb and his family reside in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. [7]
He is an investor in the Charter School Growth Fund, which supports the formation of Black-led, independently-run public schools. [9]

Hunterdon County is a county located in the western section of the U.S. state of New Jersey. At the 2020 census, the county was the state's 18th-most populous county, with a population of 128,947, its highest decennial count ever and an increase of 598 (+0.5%) from the 2010 census count of 128,349, which in turn reflected an increase of 6,360 (5.2%) from the 121,989 counted in the 2000 census. Its county seat is Flemington. The county is part of the Central Jersey region of the state.
Bethlehem Township is a township in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is part of the New York metropolitan area. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 3,745, a decrease of 234 (−5.9%) from the 2010 census count of 3,979, which in turn reflected an increase of 159 (+4.2%) from the 3,820 counted in the 2000 census.
Califon is a borough in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 1,005, a decrease of 71 (−6.6%) from the 2010 census count of 1,076, which in turn reflected an increase of 21 (+2.0%) from the 1,055 counted in the 2000 census.
Clinton Township is a township in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 13,505, an increase of 27 (+0.2%) from the 2010 census count of 13,478, which in turn reflected an increase of 521 (+4.0%) from the 12,957 counted in the 2000 census.
Franklin Township is a township in central Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 3,267, an increase of 72 (+2.3%) from the 2010 census count of 3,195, which in turn reflected an increase of 205 (+6.9%) from the 2,990 counted in the 2000 census. Most of the township lies on the Hunterdon Plateau with only the eastern section along the South Branch Raritan River being on the lower part of the Newark Basin.
Hampton is a borough in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 1,438, an increase of 37 (+2.6%) from the 2010 census count of 1,401, which in turn reflected a decline of 145 (−9.4%) from the 1,546 counted in the 2000 census.
High Bridge is a borough in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 3,546, a decrease of 102 (−2.8%) from the 2010 census count of 3,648, which in turn reflected a decline of 128 (−3.4%) from the 3,776 counted in the 2000 census.
Lebanon is a borough in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 1,665, the highest ever in any decennial census and an increase of 307 (+22.6%) from the 2010 census count of 1,358, which in turn reflected an increase of 293 (+27.5%) from the 1,065 counted in the 2000 census.
Lebanon Township is the northernmost township in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 6,195, a decrease of 393 (−6.0%) from the 2010 census count of 6,588, which in turn reflected an increase of 772 (+13.3%) from the 5,816 counted in the 2000 census.

The Lebanon Township Schools is a community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade from Lebanon Township, in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States.
The Clinton-Glen Gardner School District is a community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade from the Town of Clinton and the Borough of Glen Gardner, in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Before Glen Gardner, a non-operating district, was consolidated into the district, students from the borough had attended the district's school as part of a sending/receiving relationship. Other students attend the school on a tuition basis. Formerly known as the Town of Clinton School District, the district's board of education voted in November 2009 to revise the name to Clinton-Glen Gardner School District to reflect the merger.
