Dastak Welfare and Development Organization is a non-profit and non-governmental organization in Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, founded in 2015 which is advocating for Child Education, Climate Change, Women Rights, Poverty and Rural Development in Pakistan. [1] Dastak is a registered with Directorate of Social Welfare, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. [2] [3]

The Higher Education, Archives and Libraries Department, commonly known as the Higher Education Department or HED, is a department of the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa responsible for record keeping, policymaking, regulation and administration of higher education institutions and libraries in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Currently, the department administers three directorates along with seven autonomous/semi-autonomous bodies. Kamran Khan Bangash currently heads the department as Special Assistant to CM KPK.

General elections were held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday, 25 July 2018 to elect the 51 members of 15th National Assembly from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) obtained a landslide victory in the province by winning 37 general seats and increased their margin of victory from 2013. The PTI also won 8 out of 10 reserved seats while the Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) and Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) won 1 reserved seat each.
