Dattatraya Bhikaji Kulkarni

Dattatraya Bhikaji Kulkarni (1934-2016) was a Marathi writer, critic, retired university professor and freelance writer belonging to Maharashtra, India. He was born on 25 July 1934, in Nagpur. [1] He was head of department of Marathi at the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, of which he was also an alumni. [2] He was the president of the 83rd Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan, held in March 2010 in Pune. [3]

He died in Pune in 2016 after a brief illness. [4]

Tukdoji Maharaj,born on 30 april 1909 died on 15 october 1968 was a spiritual saint from Maharashtra, India. He was born in 1909 in a poor family in the village of Yawali in Amravati. He was a disciple of Aadkoji Maharaj. Tukdoji Maharaj was involved in social reforms in the rural regions of Maharashtra, including construction of roads. Tukdoji maharajwrote Gramgeeta which describes means for village development. Many of the development programs started by him have continued to work efficiently after his death. He was once even claimed as a mad by one of the British officers.

Sadanand Shridhar More is a Marathi writer, poet, playwright, critic, historian, lecturer, and kirtan writer. More is a scholar of Sant Sahitya and is an authority on Sant Tukaram. He is currently serving as Head of the Philosophy Department at Savitribai Phule University, Pune, Maharashtra. He is a tenth-generation descendant of Sant Tukaram.

Shanker Shesh was an Indian playwright, author, poet and story writer.
