David Paul Puttnam (born 3 February 1967) is an English former professional footballer. He played for Leicester City, Lincoln City, Swansea City and Gillingham between 1989 and 1998. [1]
He moved on to join Yeovil Town on loan, debuting in the club's 1–0 home Isthmian League victory over Bishop's Stortford on 5 April 1997. [2] He made eight appearances for Yeovil Town as they secured the Isthmian League title. In August 1997 he joined Swansea City [3] where he appeared in all of the club's opening fixtures until an Achilles tendon injury forced him to miss the home game with Torquay United on 5 September 1997. [4] His one-month contract with the club expired after the game and the club's then boss Jan Molby elected not to extend the deal and Puttnam was released. [5]
A wish to play more local football saw Puttnam join Barwell in July 2001. [6] After two seasons with the club he joined Coalville Town for the 2003–04 season. He moved on to join Quorn, debuting in the club's 0–0 home Midland Alliance draw with Boldmere St. Michaels on 20 March 2004. [7] He then spent the 2004–05 and 2005–06 seasons playing for Ratby Sports.
Yeovil Town Football Club is a professional association football club based in the town of Yeovil in Somerset, England. The team competes in the National League, the fifth level of the English football league system, after winning the 2023–24 National League South title. The club's home ground is Huish Park, built in 1990 on the site of an old army camp. That stadium is named after their former home, Huish, known for its pitch, which had an 8 feet (2.4 m) sideline to sideline slope. The club's nickname "the Glovers" is a reference to the history of glove-making in the town of Yeovil, which became a centre of the industry during the 18th and 19th centuries.
Jan Mølby is a Danish former professional footballer and manager. As a player, he was a midfielder from 1982 to 1998. After starting his career with Kolding, he moved on to Ajax before spending twelve years playing in England with Liverpool. He was capped 33 times by Denmark, scoring twice.

Andrew Hessenthaler is an English football manager and former player who is head of recruitment at EFL League Two club Gillingham. He began his career in non-league football and did not turn professional until he joined Watford at the age of 26. In 1996, Hessenthaler joined Gillingham and spent the next ten years at the club as player and later player-manager, managing the club to its highest ever finish in the English football league system and becoming regarded as a legend of the Kent club. After leaving Gillingham, he had a short spell at Barnet, before joining Dover Athletic in 2007. In his two seasons in charge he led the club to successive championships, of Isthmian League Division One South and the Isthmian League Premier Division. After three years at Dover, he became manager at Gillingham for the second time, but his contract was terminated at the end of the 2011–12 season. He returned to the club as assistant manager in 2014, before taking on a similar role at Leyton Orient the following year. In 2016, he was appointed manager of the club, but was sacked later the same year. In November he was appointed manager of Eastleigh, but the following year left to return to Dover, where he stayed until January 2023.

Anthony Bird is a Welsh former professional footballer. A striker, he made over 200 appearances in the Football League, scoring 34 goals and represented Wales at under-21 level. He began his career at his home town club Cardiff City but was released by the club in 1996. He joined Welsh Premier League side Barry Town where he developed a reputation as a prolific striker, finishing the 1996–97 season as the league's top scorer and the highest scoring player in any European league with 42 goals. However, he missed out on the European Golden Shoe award due to the newly introduced points system, which awarded the prize to Barcelona forward Ronaldo, who scored 34 goals during the same season.
