David Arconti (born September 22,1986) is an American politician who has served in the Connecticut House of Representatives from the 109th district since 2013. [1] [2]

As of the 2020 census,the county's population was 957,419,representing 26.6% of Connecticut's overall population. The closest to the center of the New York metropolitan area,the county contains four of the state's top 7 largest cities—Bridgeport (1st),Stamford (2nd),Norwalk (6th),and Danbury (7th)—whose combined population of 433,368 is nearly half the county's total population.

As part of the franchising agreement,Galante invested an additional $1.5 million to upgrade the team's home arena,Danbury Ice Arena,from a 750-seat facility to a 3,000-seat venue.
The Danbury Branch is a diesel branch of the Metro-North Railroad's New Haven Line in the U.S. state of Connecticut,running from downtown Norwalk north to Danbury. Danbury High School is a public high school in Danbury,Connecticut,with approximately 3000 students. It is part of the Danbury Public Schools district. Despite Danbury's population of 86,518,there is only one public high school,along with several small private schools,and one vocational high school in the city. The school is located in a suburban,residential neighborhood atop a hill that overlooks most of the city.
U.S. Route 7 (US 7) is a north–south United States Numbered Highway which runs 78 miles (126 km) in the state of Connecticut. The route begins at Interstate 95 (I-95) in Norwalk starting out as a freeway until the Wilton town line. The route then proceeds north as a two-lane surface road through Redding and Ridgefield,where it becomes a four-lane surface road until it reaches Danbury. The route becomes an freeway again,eventually merging with I-84 for a brief period before it turns and proceeds north with US 202 in Brookfield. The freeway section terminates at an intersection with US 202 at the Fairfield–Litchfield county line next to Candlewood lake. The route then continues north as a four-lane arterial road to New Milford,where it becomes a two-lane surface road,running north to the Massachusetts border in North Canaan. US 7 was aligned to its current route around 1930,and,since then,three sections totaling around 12 miles (19 km) have been upgraded to freeway standards.
Immaculate High School is a private,Roman Catholic high school in Danbury,Connecticut,United States. Overseen by the Diocese of Bridgeport,IHS serves residents of 28 towns in the greater Danbury area. Immaculate High School,established in 1962,enrolls 400 to 500 male and female students. As of 2021,the school offers 16 different Advanced Placement (AP) courses with 132 students enrolled in at least one AP or equivalent course. Additional demographics that help define the student body identify 13% as non-Catholic,2% as Eastern Orthodox and 85% Catholic. Student ethnicity includes 6.9% Hispanic;11% Asian and Multi-Racial;and 3% African American. Roughly 10% of the student body are international exchange. The international student exchange program at Immaculate works with students from various countries such as China,Brazil,France,Germany,Lebanon and South Korea.
The Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL) is a professional ice hockey independent minor league with teams in the Midwestern,Southern,and Northeastern United States. The FPHL began operations in November 2010 as the Federal Hockey League. Don Kirnan is the league's commissioner. The league also occasionally branded itself as the Federal Professional Hockey League from 2015 to 2018 until it began using the name Federal Prospects Hockey League and completing the rebrand in 2019.

Ken Gucker is an American Democratic Party politician formerly serving as a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives from the 138th district,which included part of the city of Danbury,as well as parts of the towns of New Fairfield and Ridgefield from 2019 to 2023. Gucker was first elected in 2018 by a two-point margin over Republican Michael Ferguson. Gucker was re-elected in 2020 by a 7-point margin over Republican Emile Buzaid. Gucker narrowly lost reelection in 2022 to Danbury Board of Education member Rachel Chaleski by a margin of 26 votes.
