Life

Baron was born in Birmingham, [2] England [3] and went to teach and study at Queen's University in Ontario. Stumbling into acting, Baron turned professional and worked in television and on stage before returning to England. [4]

Through his career he appeared in stage productions such as The Unexpected Guest by Agatha Christie, The Philanthropist by Christopher Hampton, and Otherwise Engaged by Simon Gray. [5] His film credits include The Reptile (1966), [6] Nobody Runs Forever (1968) and The Tamarind Seed (1974). [6] He appeared in television series such as Doctor Who , The Avengers , The Professionals and Buccaneer. Baron's last screen credit was in the detective drama television series Foyle's War in 2010.
