David Beatson

David Colin Beatson (14 April 1944 – 21 September 2017) was a New Zealand journalist, media analyst and broadcast presenter. [1] He was editor of the New Zealand Listener in the 1980s. [2] He worked as Chief Press Secretary to 1990s New Zealand Prime Minister Jim Bolger. [3]

Beatson died on 21 September 2017, following a lengthy undisclosed illness. [4]

Bret Peter Tarrant McKenzie, ONZM is a New Zealand comedian, actor, musician and producer. He is one half of musical comedy duo Flight of the Conchords along with Jemaine Clement.
