David Belle Isle is an American politician,who served as Mayor of Alpharetta,Georgia from 2012 to 2018. [2] [3] A member of the Republican Party,he was a candidate in the 2022 Georgia Secretary of State election.
Isle grew up in Gainesville,Georgia,and graduated from North Hall High School. He graduated from University of Georgia with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing in 1997,earning his Juris Doctor and MBA degrees in 2000. He subsequently worked in law and litigation,opening his own practice in 2005. [4]

In the 2018 election,he was a candidate for Georgia Secretary of State, [9] losing in the runoff election to Brad Raffensperger. [10]
In March 2021,he announced that he would run again for Secretary of State in 2022. [11] [12]
Isle met his wife Candice while at University of Georgia,and they married in 1997. [13]
