David Felipe Cabrera (born January 10, 1995) is a Colombian footballer.
Cabrera played four years of college soccer at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology between 2013 and 2016. [1]
Cabrera signed for United Soccer League side Rio Grande Valley FC Toros during their 2018 season. [2] He made his professional debut on August 26, 2018, start in a 2-0 victory over Orange County SC. [3]
David is the son of Wilmer Cabrera, currently the head coach of Major League Soccer side Houston Dynamo. [4] His brother, Wilmer Jr., is also a footballer.
Wílmer Cabrera Linares is a Colombian former football defender and coach. He previously coached for Chivas USA and Houston Dynamo, as well as the United States men's national under-17 soccer team. During his playing career, Cabrera played as a right back for clubs in the Colombian league and the Colombia national team, representing the country at the 1998 FIFA World Cup.
