David Creamer (born 9 December 1942) is a former international table tennis player and professional golfer from England. [1]
Creamer represented England at the 1963 World Table Tennis Championships in the Swaythling Cup (men's team event) with Chester Barnes, Ian Harrison and Bryan Merrett. [2] [3] He also won an English National title in 1964, in the doubles with Johnny Leach. [4]
Creamer turned professional in 1966. Until he reached 50, Creamer played little top-level golf, although he qualified for the 1980 Open Championship at Muirfield where he missed the cut. [1] [5] He played regularly on the European Senior Tour from 1993 to 2007, competing in over 200 events. [5] He was twice in the top 10 of the money list, in 1997 and 2000. [5] Creamer won once, the Energis Senior Masters at Wentworth in 2000. He was a runner-up 6 times, including the PGA Seniors Championship in 1994 and the Lawrence Batley Seniors in 2002, where he lost in a playoff. [5]

Ian Harold Woosnam is a Welsh professional golfer. Nicknamed 'Woosie', Woosnam was one of the "Big Five" generation of European golfers, all born within 12 months of one another, all of whom have won majors, and made Europe competitive in the Ryder Cup. Paul Andrew Broadhurst is an English professional golfer. He won six times on the European Tour and played in the 1991 Ryder Cup. Since turning 50, he has had success in senior events, winning the 2016 Senior Open Championship and the 2018 Senior PGA Championship.

John Alfred Leach MBE was a British table tennis player, coach, and author. He began competing at a relatively old age, 17, before serving in World War II. During the war, he greatly elevated his game and, in 1946, achieved a world ranking. In 1949, Leach became Great Britain's second World Champion singles player. After winning the title, he achieved widespread fame within the United Kingdom, appearing on television and writing for News of the World. Two years later, Leach added a second singles title. In 1953, he was part of the team that won Great Britain's first, and as of 2014 only, team World Championship. He also won 13 bronze and silver World championship medals between 1947 and 1955.
