David Kopp (born 5 January 1979, in Bonn) is a former German road racing cyclist, who competed as a professional between 2001 and 2011. [1] Kopp's speciality was sprinting and the cobbled classics of Belgium.

Contents

Kopp started his pro career with Team Telekom in 2001 before moving to smaller German teams for 2004 and 2005. In 2006, he returned to top level cycling with Gerolsteiner for two years before moving to Pro Continental team Cycle Collstrop in 2008. He did not get a contract for 2009. [2]

In March 2009, it was announced that he tested positive for Cocaine during a National event in Belgium on 11 September 2008. [2]

In February 2010, it was announced that Kopp will ride for the Team Kuota–Indeland on a one-year contract for 2010. [3]

He now (2016) works in the fuel retail industry.

Team Wiesenhof was a professional continental cycling team based in Germany that participated in UCI Continental Circuits races and when selected as a wildcard to UCI ProTour events. The team was managed by Raphael Schweda with assistance from directeur sportifs Hahn Jochen, Markus Schleicher and Jens Heppner. In 2007 the main sponsor Wiesenhof pulled its sponsorship ending the team.

Marcel Sieberg is a German former road racing cyclist, who last rode for UCI WorldTeam Team Bahrain Victorious. He turned professional in 2005. He competed in the Tour de France a total of nine times. For the majority of his career, he was one of André Greipel's lead-out men, having been teammates at both Team HTC–Columbia (2008–2010) and then later Lotto–Soudal (2011–2018). In that role he assisted Greipel to over 100 race wins. However, in August 2018 it emerged that the pair would go their separate ways for 2019, with Sieberg signing an initial one-year deal with Bahrain–Merida, taking on a role as a lead-out man for another German sprinter, Phil Bauhaus. He played a role in Bauhaus' stage wins at the 2020 Tour of Saudi Arabia and the 2021 Tour de Hongrie. In June 2021, his team announced that he would retire at the end of the season.
