South Africa's Official Opposition Shadow Cabinet consists of Members of the National Assembly who scrutinise their corresponding office holders in the executive branch of government and develop alternative policies for their respective portfolios. The Democratic Alliance (DA) retained their position as official opposition in the 2019 general election and Mmusi Maimane announced his shadow cabinet on 5 June 2019.
Geordin Gwyn Hill-Lewis is a South African politician who is the Mayor of Cape Town. A member of the Democratic Alliance,he was elected mayor in November 2021.
Kevin John Mileham is a South African politician,a Member of the South African Parliament for the Democratic Alliance and the Shadow Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy. Mileham was first elected to Parliament on 3 June 2013,replacing Athol Trollip. His first parliamentary role was as the Shadow Deputy Minister of Land Reform and Rural Development. After the 2014 National Elections,he was appointed the Shadow Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs. In February 2019,he was appointed as Shadow Minister of Energy. After the National and Provincial Elections on 8 May 2019,Mileham was appointed as Shadow Minister of the expanded portfolio of Mineral Resources and Energy.
The Shadow Cabinet of Mmusi Maimane was formed on 5 June 2014 in South Africa following his election as Parliamentary Leader of the Democratic Alliance and Leader of the Opposition on 29 May 2014. The Democratic Alliance parliamentary caucus also elected other caucus leadership. John Steenhuisen was elected Chief Whip with Anchen Dreyer as Caucus Chairperson. These elections all occurred following the 2014 general elections,in which the Democratic Alliance retained its post as the Official Opposition in the National Assembly of South Africa.
Thomas Charles Ravenscroft Walters is a South African politician of the Democratic Alliance (DA) who has been serving as a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa since May 2014. He served as a Member of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature from 2009 to 2014. In 2012,Walters was elected Deputy Federal Council Chairperson of the Democratic Alliance,and has been deputising Federal Council Chairperson Helen Zille since 2019. He deputised James Selfe from 2012 to 2019. Walters was the party's Shadow Minister and Shadow Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform.
Mponeng Winston Rabotapi is a South African politician of the Democratic Alliance (DA). He has been serving as the party's caucus leader in the North West Provincial Legislature since 2019. He previously served as a Member of the National Assembly from 2009 to 2019.

A member of the Democratic Alliance,he served as the inaugural Executive Mayor of the George Local Municipality from 2000 to 2004,when he was elected to the National Assembly. After serving two terms in parliament,Swart retired from politics in 2014.

Mhlongo became the Shadow Minister of Sport and Recreation in January 2017 before he was selected to be Shadow Minister of Sports,Arts and Culture in June 2019.

He was then appointed Shadow Deputy Minister of Labour. In 2017,Bagraim was promoted to Shadow Minister of Labour. After the 2019 election,he was made Shadow Deputy Minister of Labour and Employment.
Darren Bergman is a South African politician who has served as Shadow Deputy Minister of Trade,Industry and Competition since 2023 and has been a Member of Parliament for the Democratic Alliance since 2014. He was Shadow Deputy Minister of Sport and Recreation between 2014 and 2019 and Shadow Minister of International Relations and Cooperation between 2019 and 2023.

Theo Willem Coetzee was a South African politician. He served as a member of the National Assembly of South Africa for the Democratic Alliance from 2009 until his defection to the Freedom Front Plus ahead of the 2014 general election. From 2019 Coetzee was the sole representative of the Freedom Front Plus in the Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature.
Malcolm John Figg is a South African politician currently serving as a Nelson Mandela Bay councillor for the Democratic Alliance. He had previously served as the municipality's Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Budget and Treasury from 2020 to 2021. From 2014 to 2019,he was a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa. Figg served as the DA's shadow minister for public works from 2017 to 2019.
