David Shae (also known as David Moretti) (born September 3, 1981) [1] is an American actor. He is best known for playing Ron Martz, in Clint Eastwood's Richard Jewell and Alfred on The Walking Dead.
Shae was born in Cranston, Rhode Island and graduated from the University of Southern California in 2002 with a degree in English. He was a member of the Delta Chi fraternity. [2]
In 2011, he also starred in an off-Broadway theatre production of My Big Gay Italian Wedding . [3]
From 2007 to 2010, he appeared in the role of Thom in the series The Lair . [4] He made appearances as the same character in Dante's Cove . [5]
Recent acting credits include Creepshow, The Walking Dead, and Lodge 49.
Shae is gay and first came out when one of his fraternity brothers found he had a profile on a gay dating site. [6] [7] He currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. [8] [ non-primary source needed ]

The Advocate is an American LGBT magazine, printed bi-monthly and available by subscription. The Advocate brand also includes a website. Both magazine and website have an editorial focus on news, politics, opinion, and arts and entertainment of interest to lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgender (LGBT) people. The magazine, established in 1967, is the oldest and largest LGBT publication in the United States and the only surviving one of its kind that was founded before the 1969 Stonewall riots in Manhattan, an uprising that was a major milestone in the LGBT rights movement. On June 9, 2022, Pride Media was acquired by Equal Entertainment LLC known as equalpride putting The Advocate back under gay ownership.

Dante's Cove is an American LGBT-oriented supernatural soap opera which aired on here! from October 7, 2005, through December 21, 2007. Created and written by Michael Costanza and directed by Sam Irvin, the series combines elements of the horror and soap opera genres in telling the story of Kevin and Toby, a young couple seeking to be together and to overcome the dark mystical forces that conspire to separate them. The show debuted to a mixed critical reception. Although an announcement was made regarding a fourth season, no fourth season was produced.
The Lair is an American gay-themed vampire television series produced by here! in 2007. The first season consisted of six episodes and wrapped production in January 2007. The first two episodes premiered on June 1, 2007. Season 2 consisted of nine episodes and debuted on September 5, 2008. A third season of 13 episodes was announced in September 2008 and Colton Ford confirmed that filming took place in October and November 2008. Season 3 premiered September 4, 2009.
