The Australia national cricket team is the joint oldest team in Test cricket history, having played in the first ever Test match in 1877. The team also plays One-Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket, participating in both the first ODI, against England in the 1970–71 season and the first T20I, against New Zealand in the 2004–05 season, winning both games. The team draws its players from teams playing in the Australian domestic competitions – the Sheffield Shield, the Australian domestic limited-overs cricket tournament and the Big Bash League.
Sir Anderson Montgomery Everton Roberts, KCN is a former Antiguan first-class cricketer. He was a fast bowler who played Test cricket for the West Indies, twice taking seven wickets in a Test innings. Arriving in England in 1972, he played first-class cricket for Hampshire County Cricket Club and then later for Leicestershire County Cricket Club.
John "Jack" Ryder, MBE was a cricketer who played for Victoria and Australia.
William "Billy" Evans Midwinter was a cricketer who played four Test matches for England, sandwiched in between eight Tests that he played for Australia. Midwinter holds a unique place in cricket history as the only cricketer to have played for Australia and England in Test Matches against each other.
Leland Hone was an Irish cricketer who played internationally for England and Ireland, in addition to playing first-class cricket for the Marylebone Cricket Club.
Morris William Sievers was an Australian cricketer who played in three Tests in 1936–37.
An England team toured Australia between November 1920 and March 1921. The tour was organised by the Marylebone Cricket Club and matches outside the Tests were played under the MCC name. The tour itinerary consisted of 13 first-class matches, including a series of 5 Test matches against Australia in which The Ashes were at stake.
Richard Allan Kettleborough is an English international cricket umpire, and former first-class cricketer who appeared in 33 first-class matches for Yorkshire and Middlesex. He was a left-handed top order batsman and occasional right-arm medium pace bowler. He attended Worksop College and was a member of the College cricket XI for a number of years.
Nitin Narendra Menon is an Indian cricketer and umpire. He is a right handed batsman, representing Madhya Pradesh in List A cricket. He is now an umpire and has stood in matches in the 2015–16 Ranji Trophy and the Sheffield Shield in Australia. His father Narendra Menon was also an umpire.
Alexander Robin Keath is a cricketer and an Australian rules footballer who is currently captain of the Adelaide Crows SANFL team. Keath is on the list of the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League. He formerly played professional cricket for Victoria in Australian domestic cricket.
Marcus Sinclair Harris is an Australian cricketer who plays as an opening batsman for Victoria in domestic cricket. He made his Test cricket debut for the Australia national cricket team in December 2018. His average in his List A career is nearly 30.
Peter Stephen Patrick Handscomb is an Australian cricketer contracted domestically to Victoria and the Melbourne Stars. Handscomb is in the current squad for Tests, Twenty20 Internationals and One Day Internationals for Australia. He is a middle order batsman and occasional wicket-keeper. He initially had the role of wicket keeper for the national team when former keeper Matthew Wade was unavailable. He most recently kept during the First T20I against India in February 2019, replacing vice-captain Alex Carey in the lineup.
Matthew William Short is a cricketer who plays for Victoria. He made his one day debut on 20 July 2014 for the Australia National Performance Squad against South Africa A, as part of the Australia A Team Quadrangular Series in 2014. He made his first-class debut for Cricket Australia XI on 29 October 2015 in a tour match against the New Zealanders as part of New Zealand's tour to Australia. He has also played for the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League. He scored his maiden first-class century playing for Cricket Australia XI in a tour match against England at Townsville in mid-November 2017, scoring 51 in the first innings and then 134 not out in the second. He also took 4/103 with the ball.
Christopher Peter Tremain is an Australian cricketer who plays for Victoria in the Sheffield Shield and for the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League.
Sir David Maurice Serjeant was an English-born cricketer who played two first-class cricket matches in Australia for Victoria. Described as a "very good batsman" with a defence that was "neat to a fault", he opened the batting for Victoria in both matches.

Jackson Coleman is an Australian cricketer. He made his List A debut for Victoria in the 2016–17 Matador BBQs One-Day Cup on 5 October 2016. Prior to his debut, he was part of Australia's squad for the 2010 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. In 2017, he represented Cricket Australia XI in the 2017–18 JLT One-Day Cup.
Jason Jaskirat Singh Sangha is an Australian cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm leg break bowler. He represents New South Wales.
William Sutherland is an Australian cricketer. He made his List A debut for Cricket Australia XI against Pakistanis during their tour of Australia on 10 January 2017. In July 2017, he took a multi-year deal with Victoria, rather than playing in the AFL. He attended Scotch College and he is the son of James Sutherland, the former CEO of Cricket Australia.
Daniel Fallins is an Australian cricketer. He made his List A debut for Cricket Australia XI in the 2017–18 JLT One-Day Cup on 13 October 2017. He made his first-class debut for Cricket Australia XI against England on 8 November 2017 in a tour match prior to the 2017–18 Ashes series. He made his Twenty20 debut for the Melbourne Stars in BBL07 on 12 January 2018.
