David Morgan Thulin (born 17 June 1983) is a Swedish music producer and film composer. He is known for his Reconstruction album series, multiple chart-topping hits on US Christian and indie radio, and various film/TV credits.

Early and personal life

Thulin was born, David Morgan Thulin, [1] on June 17, 1983, in Naverstad, Sweden, [2] while the family would immigrate to Vero Beach, Florida, in 1991. He began to seriously hone his piano acumen, when he turned 12. Thulin is married to Racheal, where they reside in Nashville, Tennessee. [1]

Music career

His music recording career start in 2002, [2] while he did not gain notoriety for his music, until 2013, when he released the first installment of the Reconstruction series of albums. [3] The first album, Reconstruction, was released on 23 April 2013, from Dream Records. [4] [5] [6] His subsequent album, Reconstruction, Vol. 2.1, was released on 7 January 2014, with Dream Records. Press Play was a Christian pop and rock band formed by worship leader Dave Hanley in 2008. The lead singers of the band included Dave Hanley, Nicole Croteau and Jonathan Thulin. They were the former worship team for the Los Angeles Dream Center, the church where the band was formed. Press Play is now traveling full time around the world. Jonathan Andreas Thulin, also known as Andreas Moss since his switch to pop music, is a Dove Award Nominated, Swedish-born American recording artist and songwriter. He is best known for his singles "Dead Come to Life", featuring Australian artist Charmaine, "Architecture" and "Compass." He has been applauded for his creative approach to music, through cinematic and theatrical recordings and music videos. His recently released music videos for "Bombs Away", featuring artist Rachael Lampa and "Dead Come to Life", were a success among critics and audiences alike. He was a member of the chart topping band Press Play from 2010 – 2013. His solo albums "The Anatomy of a Heartflow" and "The White Room" were released on Dream Records, EMI CMG distribution. His new album "Science Fiction" was released in March, 2015 which features cameos from Royal Tailor, Group 1 Crew, Rapture Ruckus, Derek Minor, Kevin Max, Shine Bright Baby and Moriah Peters. Thulin recently featured on the top 10 single "Volcano" with New Zealand band Rapture Ruckus. In 2016, he signed a deal with Curb Records, moving into mainstream pop music. His single “Body Talk” feat. Mia More and Doeman was released on March 22, 2019, solidifying his move into electro-pop music.

The White Room is the fourth studio album by Jonathan Thulin. The project was released on October 19, 2012, through Dream Records. The deluxe edition of the album was released November 5, 2013, which contained a new original song, as well as two remixes by Thulin's brother, Dave Thulin. Two of the album's songs, "Bombs Away" and "Dead Come to Life ," charted, with the latter reaching No. 1 on US Christian AC/CHR charts.
