Kaukauna is a city in Outagamie and Calumet counties, Wisconsin, United States. It is situated on the Fox River, approximately 100 miles (160 km) north of Milwaukee. The population was 17,089 at the 2020 census. It is a part of the Appleton, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Albert Lee Toon Jr. is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL) for eight seasons. A two-time First-team All-Big Ten pick at the University of Wisconsin, Toon set several school football records for the Wisconsin Badgers. The three-time Pro Bowl selectee played his entire NFL career with the Jets from 1985 to 1992, leading his team and the league in receptions during the late 1980s. He is considered to be among the Jets' all-time greatest wide receivers and overall players in franchise history.
Joseph Hayden Thomas is an American former professional football player who was an offensive tackle for 11 seasons with the Cleveland Browns in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Wisconsin, earned unanimous All-American honors, and was recognized as the top college interior lineman. The Browns chose Thomas with the third overall pick in the 2007 NFL draft. He was invited to the Pro Bowl in each of his first 10 seasons and did not miss a single play in his career until the 2017 season ; his 10,363 consecutive snaps played is the longest streak since the NFL began recording snap counts in 1999. He is regarded as one of the best offensive linemen of all time. In 2023, Thomas was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility, becoming the first Cleveland Brown inductee since their reactivation in 1999.
Thomas J. Newberry is an American former professional football player who was a guard for 10 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played with the Los Angeles Rams for nine years and the Pittsburgh Steelers for one year. He was a starter for the Steelers in Super Bowl XXX. He was a two-time Pro Bowl (1988,1989) and All-Pro offensive guard.

Glenn Evans Derby Jr. is an American former professional football offensive lineman in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Saints in the eighth round of the 1988 NFL draft. He played three seasons for the New Orleans Saints (1988–1990) as a tackle, guard and center. He went to Green Bay Packers as a free agent and left after injury in 1991. He played at the collegiate level at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Kaukauna High School is a public high school in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, the only high school in the Kaukauna Area School District. He was selected by the St. Louis Rams in the second round of the 2015 NFL draft. He played college football for the Wisconsin Badgers. With the retirement of Aaron Donald in March 2024, Havenstein is now the last remaining Rams player from the franchise's time in St. Louis that is still with the team.

A native of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, Ramczyk attended four different schools before transferring to Wisconsin–Madison in 2014, where he became an All-American lineman for the Badgers in the 2016 season.
