David Wanzenried is a Montana politician and Montana State University Billings instructor. He served as the state senator for the 49th district of Montana, representing parts of the city of Missoula and Missoula County from since 2007 to 2015. He is a member of the Democratic party. Previously, he had been elected to the state House of Representatives for the 92nd district, serving Missoula and also Evergreen, near Kalispell from 1990 to 2004. [1] He served as Montana House Minority leader from 2005 to 2007. Wanzenried ran for the office of governor of Montana in 2012 but withdrew from the race on July 8th, 2011. [2]

William Walter "Bill" Mercer is an American attorney and politician serving as a member of the Montana House of Representatives from the 46th district. He previously served as the United States Attorney for the District of Montana, as well as principal associate deputy attorney general for the United States Department of Justice. Jonathan Windy Boy is an American politician, currently serving as a member of the Montana House of Representatives. From 2008 to 2016, he served in the Montana Senate. In 2019, he stepped down from legislative duties after being found guilty of sexual misconduct. The sexual misconduct stemmed from inappropriate texts he sent in 2017 to female colleagues between mid-August and October. Allegations and anecdotes began circulating of his history sexual misconduct on the reservation. He ran for re-election as Representative of District 32 and served in the 2021 session.

Matthew Martin Rosendale Sr. is an American politician. A Republican, Rosendale represents Montana's 2nd congressional district in the United States House of Representatives. Rosendale served in the Montana House of Representatives from 2011 to 2013, and in the Montana Senate from 2013 to 2017. From 2015 to 2017, he served as Senate majority leader. Rosendale was elected Montana state auditor in 2016 and held that position from 2017 to 2020. Rosendale ran unsuccessfully for the U.S. House of Representatives in 2014 and for the U.S. Senate in 2018. He was elected to represent Montana's at-large congressional district in 2020. After Montana regained its second House seat in the 2020 census, Rosendale was elected to represent the new 2nd congressional district in 2022.
