RTÉ2 is an Irish free-to-air television channel operated by public service broadcaster RTÉ. It was launched in 1978 as the Republic of Ireland's second television channel.

Shane Ó hEochagáin, known mononymously as Hector, is an Irish television and radio presenter born in Drogheda, County Louth, and raised in Navan, County Meath. He is best known for travel shows on TG4, the Irish language television station in Ireland. He also presents The Tommy, Hector and Laurita Podcast. He previously presented Breakfast with Hector on weekday mornings on RTÉ 2fm from 4 October 2010 until Friday, 20 December 2013 and The Sunday Sitting Room on Today FM.
Gráinne Seoige is an Irish journalist, news anchor and documentary and entertainment television presenter. He has presented The RTÉ 2fm Breakfast Show on radio and hosted The Voice of Ireland and Ireland's Junior Eurovision Song Contest selection shows on television. He began his career presenting POP4, a music programme on TG4. He also hosted Xfm Drivetime on radio in the United Kingdom and has narrated Love Island Australia on television.
Páidí Ó Lionáird is an Irish television presenter and columnist from Cúil Aodha, County Cork. Since 1997, Ó Lionáird has been the presenter of current affairs and entertainment shows on the Irish language channel TG4.
