David Yost is an American football coach. He is the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the FIU Panthers football team.
Yost started his coaching career at Tiffin as their wide receivers coach. After one year with Tiffin, he was promoted to be the team's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. After eight years with Tiffin, Yost joined Toledo as the team's quarterbacks coach, where he remained for five years. Yost was then hired to coach the quarterbacks for Missouri. [1] After eight seasons as the Tigers quarterbacks coach, he became the team's offensive coordinator. [2] After 12 years with Missouri, Yost resigned from his position. [3] [4] Yost later joined Washington State as the team's wide receiver coach for three years. [5] [6] Yost was then by Oregon to be their passing game coordinator. [7] [8] After one year with Oregon, Yost was hired by Utah State to fill the team's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach positions. [9] [10] In his time with Utah State, he was named a Broyles Award semifinalist in 2018 after helping the team achieve school records in points and touchdowns. [11] After two years with Utah State, Yost was hired by Texas Tech as the team's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. [12] [13] After two years with Texas Tech, Yost was fired. [14] [15] Yost then accepted a job at FIU as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. [16] [17]
Stephen Sarkisian is an American football coach and former player who is the head football coach at the University of Texas at Austin. He previously served as the head football coach at the University of Washington from 2009 to 2013 and the University of Southern California (USC) from 2014 to 2015.
Kliff Timothy Kingsbury is an American football coach and former quarterback who is the offensive coordinator for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Texas Tech Red Raiders, finishing in the top three in several school passing records before being selected in the sixth round of the 2003 NFL draft by the New England Patriots. He was a member of several other NFL and CFL teams before entering coaching in 2008.
Sonny Jack Cumbie is an American football coach and former quarterback. He is the head football coach at Louisiana Tech University, a position he has held since the 2022 season. Cumbie previously served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Texas Tech University and was the interim head coach after the departure of Matt Wells in 2021. He also served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Texas Christian University (TCU). Cumbie played college football at Texas Tech and was the team's starting quarterback during the 2004 season, when he led the nation in passing and total offense and a guided the Red Raiders to win in the 2004 Holiday Bowl, earning MVP honors for the game. Cumbie played professionally in the Arena Football League (AFL), the Indoor Football League (IFL), and briefly in the National Football League (NFL).
Mario Manuel Cristobal is the Cuban-American head football coach of the Miami Hurricanes football team at the University of Miami. Cristobal previously was the head football coach at Florida International University (FIU) from 2007 to 2012 and the University of Oregon from 2017 to 2021. He was an all-conference offensive tackle on the Miami Hurricanes football team that won national championships in 1989 and 1991.
William James O'Brien, nicknamed "the Teapot", is an American football coach who is currently the head coach at Boston College. Previously, he was the head coach of the Houston Texans from 2014 to 2020, and at Penn State from 2012 to 2013. Prior to Boston College, O'Brien was the offensive coordinator at the University of Alabama and for the New England Patriots. After the Patriots parted ways with longtime head coach Bill Belichick at the end of the 2023 season, O'Brien was not retained by the team.
Marcus Cole Arroyo is an American football coach and former player. He is the offensive coordinator and quarterback coach at Arizona State. He served as the head coach at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) from 2020 to 2022. Arroyo played college football as quarterback at San Jose State University.
Daniel "Sonny" Dykes is an American football coach, and a former college baseball player. He is currently the head football coach at Texas Christian University (TCU), and previously served in the same role at Southern Methodist University (SMU) from 2018 to 2021, the University of California, Berkeley from 2013 to 2016, and Louisiana Tech University from 2010 to 2012. In his first season at TCU, he led the Horned Frogs to a win in the semifinal and an appearance in the National Championship game.
Brian Delance Johnson is an American football coach and former quarterback who is the assistant head coach and offensive pass game coordinator for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He has been an offensive coordinator for the NCAA's Utah Utes, Houston Cougars, and Florida Gators and the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles. Johnson played college football at Utah and was briefly a member of the United Football League's (UFL) New York Sentinels in 2009.
Brett Elliott is an American football coach and former player. He is the co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at his alma mater, Linfield University. He was previously the quarterbacks coach at Texas State University.

Beau Daniel Baldwin is an American football coach and former player. He is the quarterbacks coach for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Previously, he was the head football coach for the Cal Poly Mustangs, a position he held from December 2019 to 2022. Baldwin previously served as the head football coach at Central Washington University in 2007 and at Eastern Washington University from 2008 to 2016. He led the 2010 Eastern Washington Eagles football team to an NCAA Division I Football Championship. Baldwin was the offensive coordinator for the California Golden Bears from 2017 to 2019 and for the Arizona State Sun Devils in 2023.
Matthew Scribner Wells is an American football coach and former quarterback who currently serves as Associate Head Coach, Co-Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach at Kansas State. Wells previously served as the offensive coordinator and then head coach at Utah State University, where he was named Mountain West conference coach of the year in 2013 and again in 2018. He was named head coach of Texas Tech on November 29, 2018, and led the team until his firing midway through the 2021 season. He also served as an offensive analyst for Oklahoma under Head Coach Brent Venables during the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
Matt Lubick is an American football coach and former player. He currently is a senior analyst for the University of Kansas. He was previously the offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He was named the 2012 Football Scoop Wide Receivers Coach of the Year while coaching at Duke University.

The 2017 Utah State Aggies football team represented Utah State University in the 2017 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Aggies were led by fifth-year head coach Matt Wells and played their home games at Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium. They competed as members of the Mountain Division of the Mountain West Conference. They finished the season 6–7, 4–4 in Mountain West play to finish in a tie for fourth place in the Mountain Division. They were invited to the Arizona Bowl where they lost to New Mexico State.

He is currently the running backs coach for the Indianapolis Colts. Smith previously served as the running backs coach at Texas Tech from 2019 to 2021. He has coached other college football teams such as Indiana, Northern Illinois, New Mexico and Utah State.
