Davit Chaloyan is an Armenian boxer. [1] He participated at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships, being awarded the silver medal in the super heavyweight event. [2] [3] Chaloyan also participated at the 2022 European Amateur Boxing Championships in the super heavyweight event. [4] He defeated Suraj Soldo in the preliminary round. [4]

Boxing in Armenia is a popular sport, that existed in the Armenian Highland since ancient times. Amateur boxing schools in the country appeared in early 1900s, by the mid-1950s boxing became one of the traditional sports in Armenia. In 1956, Vladimir Yengibaryan won a gold medal at the Olympics for the Soviet team. In the early 21st century, professional and amateur boxing in Armenia reached another peak. Most notably Arthur Abraham and Vic Darchinyan won several professional world champion titles. Dozens of amateur boxers have been placed in the top 3 of world and European competitions for various weight categories. Vladimir Yengibarian was among the first individuals to open professional boxing schools in Armenia. The sport is regulated by the Armenian Boxing Federation.

Joe Cordina is a Welsh professional boxer. He is a two-time super-featherweight world champion, having held the International Boxing Federation (IBF) title since April 2023 and previously in 2022. At regional level, he held the British and Commonwealth lightweight titles between 2018 and 2019. As an amateur, he won a bronze medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and gold at the 2015 European Championships, both in the lightweight division. He also represented Great Britain at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Madiyar Saydrakhimov is an Uzbekistani boxer who competes in the light heavyweight and in the heavyweight category. He is a member of the national boxing team of Uzbekistan. He was bronze medalist at the World Championship (2021), champion at the World Military Games (2019), and has won multiple international and national amateur tournaments. He was a finalist at the team semi-professional tournament Boxing League Intercontinental Cup.

Aliaksei Alfiorau is a Belarusian boxer. He participated at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships, being awarded the silver medal in the light heavyweight event. In the final match, Alfiorau was defeated by Robby Gonzales.

Vladimir Sergeyevich Mironchikov is a Serbian boxer. He participated at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships, being awarded the bronze medal in the light heavyweight event. Mironchikov was the first and only person of his country to win a medal. In a match, he was defeated by Robby Gonzales.

Lasha Guruli is a Georgian boxer. He participated at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships, being awarded the bronze medal in the welterweight event. Guruli also participated at the 2022 European Amateur Boxing Championships, being awarded the silver medal in the welterweight event.

Lewis Williams is an English boxer. He participated at the 2022 European Amateur Boxing Championships, winning the bronze medal in the heavyweight event. He previously participated at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships in the heavyweight event, but was defeated in the quarter-final by Madiyar Saydrakhimov.
