Davit Kacharava (born 16 January 1985, in Tbilisi) is a Georgian rugby union player who plays as a centre.
He played for Bastia, Nice, from 2009/10 to 2011/12, for Stade Rodez Aveyronin the Fédérale 1 in France, during the 2012/13 season, and currently plays for Enisei-STM in the Russian Championship. His club played in the European Rugby Challenge Cup.
He has 73 caps for Georgia, since 2006, with 14 tries scored, 70 points on aggregate. He was called for the 2007 Rugby World Cup, playing in two games and scoring a try, and for the 2011 Rugby World Cup, playing in all the four games but without scoring. [1] He continues to be a regular player for the Georgian side.
He is member of Parliament of Georgia since December 2020. On 2 August 2022, Kacharava left the Georgian Dream party and joined the People's Power party.
The Georgia national rugby union team, nicknamed The Lelos, is administered by the Georgian Rugby Union. The team takes part in the annual Rugby Europe Championship, and the Rugby World Cup which takes place every four years and in which it has appeared continuously since 2003.

The Georgia national rugby union team has competed in five consecutive Rugby World Cup tournaments. Starting in 2003, they were placed in Pool C with eventual winners England, South Africa, Uruguay and Samoa, where they lost all four matches. Georgia qualified for the 2007 World Cup and were placed in Pool D with Argentina, France, Ireland and Namibia, where they beat Namibia. In 2011 Rugby World Cup, Georgia qualified for their third straight tournament. They were placed in Pool B with Scotland, England, Argentina and Romania and won the game against rivals Romania. Their best performance was in 2015 tournament, when they were drawn against eventual world champions New Zealand, Argentina, Tonga and Namibia. Georgia won games against Tonga and Namibia, finished third in the group and automatically qualified for 2019 Rugby World Cup.
Davit Zirakashvili is a former Georgian rugby union player. He played most of his career for Clermont in the top French professional rugby league, the Top 14. He played as a tighthead prop. He is seen as one of Georgia's finest ever rugby players and was voted Georgian sportsman of the year in 2010.

Davit Niniashvili is a Georgian rugby union player. He plays as a winger for Lyon OU; in the Top 14, in France. Niniashvili also plays full-back for the Georgian National Team He participated in the 2019 European Under-18 Rugby Union Championship organised in Kaliningrad. He started in the final, which was won by Georgia. Although only evolving in the regional league, being 18 years old and having no high-level experience, he was selected by Levan Maisashvili to participate in the Autumn Nations Cup. His coach presents him as "a promising player with good skills". He wants to "increase the depth [at the rear post]".
