Dawid Pietrzkiewicz (born 9 February 1988) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper.

Career

Club

In September 2010, he was loaned to NK Primorje. [1] He made his Gambrinus liga debut for Baník Ostrava on 30 April 2011. [2] In the summer of 2012, Pietrzkiewicz joined Azerbaijan Premier League side Simurq. [3] In his only season with the club he featured in all bar 4 games for Simurq, making 31 appearances.

Gabala

On 5 June 2013, Pietrzkiewicz was unveiled as a new signing for Gabala, moving from fellow Azerbaijan Premier League club Simurq on a one-year contract with the option of another year. [4] [5] He made his debut on 2 August 2013 in their 1–2 away victory against Baku. [6] [7] Pietrzkiewicz left Gabala at the end of his one-year contract, having made 10 appearances for the club. After being without a club for a year, Pietrzkiewicz re-signed with Gabala on 28 July 2015.

Sandecja Nowy Sącz

On 22 August 2017, he signed a contract with Sandecja Nowy Sącz. [8]

Stal Stalowa Wola

Pietrzkiewicz played 14 matches for Stal Stalowa Wola in the 2019–20 II liga season. On 10 August 2020, his contract was terminated. [9]

The Gabala FC 2012–13 season is Gabala's eighth season and seventh Azerbaijan Premier League season. They started the season under manager Fatih Kavlak, who was sacked on 24 September 2012 following a poor run of results and was replaced by Ramiz Mammadov. Mammadov was himself sacked on 2 April 2013 following 5 games without a win, with reserve team manager Luis Aragon taking over in a Caretaker role. Gabala also competed in the Azerbaijan Cup, entering at the Last 16 stage and beating Qaradağ before being eliminated in the Quarterfinals by Qarabağ.

The Ravan Baku 2012-13 season was Ravan Baku's second Azerbaijan Premier League season. Ravan started the season under new manager Cevat Güler, having replaced Bahman Hasanov in preseason. Güler was sacked as manager on 25 August with Hasanov being brought in as caretaker manager until Ravan appointed Kemal Alispahić on 24 September. Alispahić himself was sacked on 21 December 2012, after 4 wins in 13 games, and was replaced by Ramil Aliyev. Ravan went on to finish 8th in the league. They also participate in the 2012–13 Azerbaijan Cup, reaching the Quarterfinals, where they went out 6-2 on aggregate to Khazar Lankaran.

The Simurq PFC 2012–13 season was Simurq PFC's seventh Azerbaijan Premier League season, and it is their first full season under manager Giorgi Chikhradze. They finished the season in 4th place and were knocked out of the Azerbaijan Cup at the Quarterfinals stage by Neftchi Baku.

The 2013–14 Azerbaijan Premier League was the 22nd season of Azerbaijan Premier League, the Azerbaijani professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1992. Neftchi Baku were the defending champions, having won the previous season.

The 2013–14 season was Gabala's ninth season as a club and their eighth season in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top flight of Azerbaijani football. They finished the season in their highest ever position, third, and earned qualification to the UEFA Europa League for the first time in the club's history. They also participated in the Azerbaijan Cup, reaching the final for the first time, where they lost to Neftchi Baku on penalties. It was their first, and only, season with manager Yuri Semin, who mutually terminated his contract at the end of the season. Danijel Subotić was the team's top goalscorer for the season with 13, 12 of which came in the Premier League.

The Khazar Lankaran 2013-14 season is Khazar Lankaran's ninth Azerbaijan Premier League season. It is their first full season with John Toshack as manager. They started the season by competing in the 2013–14 UEFA Europa League, reaching the 2nd qualifying round, after defeating Sliema Wanderers, before losing 0-10 on aggregate to Maccabi Haifa. As runners up in the previous season Azerbaijan Cup, Khazar took part in the revamped Azerbaijan Supercup, emerging victorious against Neftchi Baku. They currently taking part in the 2013–14 Azerbaijan Cup and 2013–14 Azerbaijan Premier League.

The 2014–15 season was Gabala's tenth season overall and ninth competing in the Azerbaijan Premier League.

The 2015–16 season was Gabala FK's 11th season, and their 10th in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top-flight of Azerbaijani football. Domestically, Gabala finished 3rd in the Premier League for the third season in a row and reached the semifinals of the Azerbaijan Cup where they were defeated by Neftchi Baku. In Europe Gabala reached the group stages of the UEFA Europa League where they faced PAOK, Krasnodar and Borussia Dortmund before finishing bottom of the group.

The 2016–17 season is Gabala FK's 12th season, and their 11th in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top-flight of Azerbaijani football. As well as participating in the Premier League, Gabala will take part in the Azerbaijan Cup and UEFA Europa League.
