Daytona Lights were an English indie pop band from London, England.
The band formed in 2006 at East 15 Acting School [1] where they first performed with an alternative line-up. In 2010 Louis Souyave joined the band and went on to begin touring the London live music circuit.
The band were signed in 2010 by Hubris Records Ltd, the record label of producer Steve Levine. In 2012 the band parted ways with Hubris and founded their own label Summer Omelette. Summer Omelette's first release was the single "Midnight Beach" which was followed up by the "Old Fashioned Love" EP, produced by the band's guitarist Louis Souyave.

The band has received air time on BBC Radio 1, XFM, BBC Radio 1Xtra, BBC Radio 6, BalconyTV, and a remix of their 2012 single "My Place" by Boy George. XFM's John Kennedy has championed the band on his show through various live sessions and airplay. [2]
Their debut studio album This Modern Landscape was released 29 December 2011. [3] They are credited with coining the genre description "Groove-Pop".
In 2009, the band appeared in BlackBerry's 'Love What You Do' commercial [4] and in 2010 the band's single 'Lillian' was used for an Olympus commercial. [5]
In September 2011, it was announced Daytona Lights would be joining the regular cast of UK soap Hollyoaks , [6] where they would play "partially fictional versions of themselves". who would go on form the band within the show and play their own music which would then become available on iTunes. The band's last appearance on the show came in May 2012 as story arcs concluded. [7]
The Cinematic Orchestra is a British nu jazz and downtempo music group created in 1999 by Jason Swinscoe and later involving his music collaborator Dominic Smith. The group is signed to independent record label Ninja Tune.

The Dykeenies are a Scottish indie rock band from Cumbernauld, formed in 2005. The group consists of brothers Brian Henderson and Andrew Henderson, along with Steven Ramsay and John Kerr. Since their formation, they have released one studio album, Nothing Means Everything, accompanied by three singles. After a worldwide tour, the band began work on their second album, which was released in October 2011. They broke up in January 2012, before re-forming for two performances in 2017. The Dykeenies released their EP 'I Wanted To Show Her All The Beautiful Things in the World' on 11 May 2018. The title of the 2018 EP was taken from Bret Ellis-Easton's 'American Psycho'.
Hadouken! were a British dance-punk band formed in London in 2006 by singer, songwriter and producer James Smith and synth player Alice Spooner along with guitarist Daniel "Pilau" Rice, bassist Christopher Purcell and drummer Nick Rice. The band took its name from the special attack of the same name from the Street Fighter video game series. It was in Leeds that Hadouken! began their own record label, Surface Noise Records.

Courteeners are an English band formed in Middleton, Greater Manchester, in 2006 by Liam Fray, Michael Campbell, Daniel "Conan" Moores and Mark Cuppello (bass); the last was replaced by the band's producer Joe Cross in 2015. They previously toured with pianist Adam Payne, who has been featured on every album, but in 2019 was replaced with Elina Lin. In December 2012, the band dropped "The" from their name, continuing simply as "Courteeners". In 2024, Cross and Lin became official members of the band.
Black Tide was an American heavy metal band from Kendall, Florida. Formed in 2004, the band last consisted of Gabriel Garcia, Austin Diaz and Cody Paige (drums). They released their debut album, Light from Above, in 2008 through Interscope Records when Garcia was 15 years old. Their second album, Post Mortem, was released in 2011. Black Tide's EP Bite the Bullet was released in 2013 by InnerCat Music Group, a Miami-based boutique label. In 2015, the band released their last album Chasing Shadows. In July 2016, Garcia announced that the band is over and he is concentrating on his solo project.
Sennen are an English alternative rock band from London. Formed in Norwich, England, in 2002, the current line-up consists of Larry Holmes, Rich Kelleway, James Brown and Tim Kelleway (bass). The band's uncorrupted, oddly schizophrenic style has won them a loyal following across the world, and seen their music appear on hit US TV dramas such as True Blood and One Tree Hill. The band are named after the Ride song "Sennen", originally released on the Today Forever EP.
Broadcast 2000 is an English acoustic indie-folk band, which centres around multi-instrumentalist songwriter and producer Joe Steer. As a live band Steer has been joined by various musicians including Tom Andrews (glockenspiel), Chris Banner (percussion), Pedro Del Battenberg (percussion), Louise Golbey, Greg Cordez, Kelly Underdown (violin), Jade Brightwell (violin), Mikee Reed (violin), Sarah Triggs (viola) and Alex Eichenberger (cello).
My Tiger My Timing was a five-piece new wave pop band from New Cross in south-east London formed in 2008. Their music was described by NME.com as "tribal electro like a south London Gang Gang Dance" and by Clash as "alternative pop with a dark heart that's bursting with desire". The band are on indefinite hiatus as of 2014.

As a result, the band was one of two acts based in Stoke-on-Trent invited to perform on the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury Festival on Saturday, 28 June 2013.
