de'Montmorency College of Dentistry (DCD) is located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. [1] It is situated next to the Badshahi Masjid. The college is named after former Punjab Governor Sir Geoffrey Fitzhervey de'Montmorency, who remained in office until the start of the 1930s.

Vimla Sood, the first woman to become a dentist in undivided India, graduated from the college in 1944. [2]

It has been the highest merit college upon enrolment of new students consistently for years. Each year it enrols a hundred students in its 4 year BDS programme. It is affiliated with the University of Health and Sciences and it’s associated hospital is the Punjab Dental Hospital. It has many active societies, the Sports committee, the DDLS (de'Montmorency debating and literary society), the DDMS(de'Montmorency dramatics and music society), and the DIS(de'Montmorency islamic society). The Sports Committee acts as the Student Council body of the college. Prof.Dr. Nabeela Riaz Mirza is the current principal of the college.

Every year the college holds a number of events, the sports week besides annual dinner being the most significant. The Annual Dinner held in 2019.08.28 reunited the famous Pakistani musical band, The Aarish, on the event. [3]

Rafiuddin Ahmed was an Indian dentist, educator and later minister in the West Bengal cabinet, who founded the first dental college of India, Dr. R. Ahmed Dental College and Hospital, later named 'The Calcutta Dental College', where he remained its principal until 1950. He established the Indian Dental Journal in 1925, and played a key role in founding the Bengal Dentist Act in 1939. In 1946, he established The Bengal Dental Association which was then renamed as the Indian Dental Association. The Government of India awarded him the Padma Bhushan in 1964. Remembered as the father of modern dentistry in India, in 2016, the Indian Dental Association declared 24 December as National Dentist's Day in his honour.

Tabitha Solomon was one of the first women to qualify as a dentist in India, graduating from the Calcutta Dental College and Hospital in 1928. After graduation she started a dental clinic in the Chittarnjan Seva Sadan Hospital and worked at the Dufferin Hospital. A member of the Baghdadi Jewish community, she was closely involved in Jewish community causes.
