The DeMarcay Hotel is a historic hotel in Sarasota, Florida at 27 South Palm Avenue. The two-story hotel has a rectangular-plan and was designed in Mission Style architecture. [1] On March 22, 1984, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

The Dr. C. B. Wilson House is a historic home in Sarasota, Florida. On March 22, 1984, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It originally was located at 235 South Orange Avenue. In 2004, the house was planned to be demolished for the construction of a bank on the site. Funds were raised, and the house was moved to 4012 Honore Avenue inside of Urfer Family Park. Today, the house is open for self-guided tours to the public.

The Crisp Building is a historic office building at 1970 Main St. in Sarasota, Florida. The T. H. Crisp Company, a developer led by Thomas H. Crisp, constructed the building in 1926. The Crisp Company built many of Sarasota's homes and residential developments in the 1920s and 1930s. The building has also served as a meeting hall for Sarasota's chapter of the Loyal Order of Moose. The building was designed in the Mediterranean Revival style and is one of the best-preserved examples of the style in downtown Sarasota.

G.A. Miller Inc also known as GA Miller Construction Co. was a Tampa, Florida construction company. The company built twenty Kress stores including in St. Petersburg, Florida; Lakeland, Florida; Tampa; Ybor City; Fort Myers; Daytona Beach; as well as in North and South Carolina; Georgia; Alabama; Spokane, Washington; and Billings, Montana. The company also constructed the Edwards Theater, the original Sarasota Herald building, and the Mira Mar Hotel.

Andrew McAnsh was a Scottish-American businessman. He lived in the Chicago area for most of his life and was active in that area. McAnsh would play a prominent role in the development of Sarasota, Florida being a real estate developer there.

Victor Alfred Lundy is an American architect. An exemplar of modernist architecture, he was one of the leaders of the Sarasota School of Architecture. His Warm Mineral Springs Motel, outside Warm Mineral Springs, Florida, is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. He was honored by the Smithsonian on his 90th birthday in 2013. A film on his life and work, entitled "Victor Lundy: Sculptor of Space" was premiered by the GSA on February 25, 2014.
