deSol was an American band, based in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Described as "Rock & Roll with a Latin soul", the band's second full-length album, On My Way , was released on August 7, 2007.
In January 2001 deSoL was officially formed. Located in Asbury Park, the band was able to start touring extensively on the east coast, working their trade. Their early years spent touring earned them a record deal they signed with Curb Records. deSoL quickly became a main stay in large tours as a supporting act, including an opening slot for REM at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City. deSoL supported many acts including Blues Traveler, Los Lonely Boys, Ozomatli, Cypress Hill, Arrested Development and Widespread Panic. In 2005, deSoL toured extensively with the Legendary Wailers, playing to sold-out venues six nights a week for four months. This allowed the band to perfect its stage show and to gain national and international exposure. The band performed at all of the major festivals including Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, All Good, South by Southwest, Langerado and Nashville River Stages.
During the latter half of 2006, the group embarked on an Armed Forces Entertainment tour. The group visited military bases in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Djibouti, performing for American service personnel.
deSoL released four albums during their career. The group received radio air play for their songs "Karma", "Blanco y Negro", "Sing it All Night" and "On My Way". In addition, deSoL got into the top 3 in the charts with their version of the Christmas song "Little Drummer Boy". The song continues to receive air play each December.
After years of personal change, the core group decided to step back for a few years to enjoy life and explore other hobbies.

Faster Pussycat is an American hard rock/glam metal band from Los Angeles, formed in 1985 by vocalist Taime Downe, guitarists Brent Muscat and Greg Steele and bassist Kelly Nickels. The group has since gone through numerous lineup changes leaving Downe as the only constant member. They broke up in 1993, but reformed in 2001. Faster Pussycat has released four studio albums to date: Faster Pussycat (1987), Wake Me When It's Over (1989), Whipped! (1992) and The Power and the Glory Hole (2006). They were a successful and influential hard rock band during the late 1980s and early 1990s, having sold over two million records worldwide.

deSoL is the first major album release by the Latin rock band, deSoL. This album was released twice, first in 2004 with a release party at the Mercury Lounge in New York City, and second in 2005 with a different track listing.
On My Way is the second major album release by New Jersey Latin rock band, deSoL. The album had its start while the band took a month off from touring in January 2006. After the success of their AAA top 10 single, Karma and a lengthy tour, the band started 2006 with a trip to Texas. They spent a month at Sonic Ranch, a boutique recording studio in the middle of a Pecan farm outside El Paso. With the benefit of isolation and virtually no phone service, the band spent their days rehearsing and working on writing new material inspired by their travels of the previous 2–3 years. A collection of 20 songs arose out of these informal sessions and demos were recorded by the band. This album was created and financed independently after the band left their previous label, CURB Records. The band then set about recording the album back in New Jersey with producer Jon Leidersdorff at his Lakehouse Recording Studio in Asbury Park. The cover photo is a detail of a live photo taken by tour manager Jessica Erickson during a show in Boston.

He has performed, composed, and recorded music with numerous artists, most notably Erik Sanko and Skeleton Key, Tom Marshall (Phish) and Amfibian, Anthony Krizan, Jim Breuer, Kronos Quartet, Jesse Blaze Snider and Baptized By Fire, Dee Snider, Billy Martin, David Peel, and White Trash.
