deSol is an American band, based in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Described as "Rock & Roll with a Latin soul", the band's second full-length album, On My Way , was released on August 7, 2007.
In January 2001 deSoL was officially formed. Located in Asbury Park, the band was able to start touring extensively on the east coast, working their trade. Their early years spent touring earned them a record deal they signed with Curb Records. deSoL quickly became a main stay in large tours as a supporting act, including an opening slot for REM at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City. deSoL supported many acts including Blues Traveler, Los Lonely Boys, Ozomatli, Cypress Hill, Arrested Development and Widespread Panic. In 2005, deSoL toured extensively with the Legendary Wailers, playing to sold-out venues six nights a week for four months. This allowed the band to perfect its stage show and to gain national and international exposure. The band performed at all of the major festivals including Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, All Good, South by Southwest, Langerado and Nashville River Stages.
During the latter half of 2006, the group embarked on an Armed Forces Entertainment tour. The group visited military bases in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Djibouti, performing for American service personnel.
deSoL released four albums during their career. The group received radio air play for their songs "Karma", "Blanco y Negro", "Sing it All Night" and "On My Way". In addition, deSoL got into the top 3 in the charts with their version of the Christmas song "Little Drummer Boy". The song continues to receive air play each December.
After years of personal change, the core group decided to step back for a few years to enjoy life and explore other interests.

The Raveonettes are a Danish indie rock duo, consisting of Sune Rose Wagner on guitar, instruments and vocals, and Sharin Foo on bass, guitar and vocals. Their music is characterized by close two-part vocal harmonies inspired by The Everly Brothers coupled with hard-edged electric guitar overlaid with liberal doses of noise. Their songs juxtapose the structural and chordal simplicity of 1950s and 1960s rock with intense electric instrumentation, driving beats, and often dark lyrical content, similar to another of the band's influences, The Velvet Underground.
The Frames are an Irish rock band based in Dublin. Founded in 1990 by Glen Hansard, the band has been influential in the Dublin rock music scene. The group has released six studio albums. Chip Johnson joined Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers on bass in 2011.

Neptune is an experimental / industrial noise rock band originally hailing from Boston, Massachusetts. Throughout its 30 year history, the band has largely operated as a collective, not only by employing a rotating membership, but also often collaborating with other musicians and artists both live and on record. They are noted for having built their custom-made instruments out of scrap steel and other found-object and recycled materials. The instruments themselves can be heavy and foreboding "self-made from antiquated machines and scrap metal, forged at extreme angles like props from a German expressionist film." A reviewer once said of the band: "Neptune really do accurately approximate in their music the tragic and violent desolation of the auto graveyards from which they draw their raw materials." While another wrote: "Neptune’s closest comparison could only be themselves."
deSoL is the first major album release by the Latin rock band, deSoL. This album was released twice, first in 2004 with a release party at the Mercury Lounge in New York City, and second in 2005 with a different track listing.

Benjamin Clapp is an American musician from Boise, Idaho. He has performed, composed, and recorded music with numerous artists, most notably Erik Sanko and Skeleton Key, Tom Marshall (Phish) and Amfibian, Anthony Krizan, Jim Breuer, Kronos Quartet, Jesse Blaze Snider and Baptized By Fire, Dee Snider, Billy Martin, David Peel, and White Trash.
