Dean Kelly (born 1977, Galway) is an Irish painter and photographer. His works 'chronicle changes in Irish society through recent years'. [1] [2] [3]

Between 1995 and 2001 Kelly was a member of Macnas Theatre & Spectacle, Galway. (He was prop and theatre designer, and sculptor of a number of 'cabezudos' style caricature heads. [4] These 'massive heads' were later used on Chris Evans' Channel 4 (UK) 'TFI Friday' show in the late 1990s).[ citation needed ]

In 2015 the artist was included in the National Irish Visual Arts Library (NIVAL) database of Irish artists. [5]

Una Watters was an Irish artist and librarian. She was the artist who created the Claíomh Solais image used to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Easter Rising in 1966.

Philip and Barry Castle were British and Irish artists. They are considered a pair, as they are in the National Irish Visual Arts Library catalogue, as they worked and exhibited together and shared a painting technique that Philip taught Barry, which concentrated on making the colour look luminous. The Irish Times said of their partnership that "As husband and wife they have lived together a long time, but their artistic partnership spans almost as many years."
