Dean Alan Wendt is an American voice actor, host and music DJ, best known as the fill in voice of Barney on the hit children's show Barney & Friends . [1]
Dean Wendt was a part of Radio Disney from 1996 to 1999 but left the company in order to dedicate his time to voicing Barney the Dinosaur in 2001 after Bob West, David Franks, Duncan Brannan and Tim Dever retired in 2002.
His voice has appeared in various other Barney media, such as concert tours around the world. He has appeared in such shows as Barney's Colorful World and Barney Live! The Let's Go Tour, and Barney's Birthday Bash. He has also appeared in over 100 TV shows and over 25 videos.

Cheers is an American sitcom television series that ran on NBC from 1982 to 1993, with a total of 275 22-26 minute episodes across eleven seasons. The show was produced by Charles/Burrows/Charles Productions in association with Paramount Network Television and was created by the team of James Burrows and Glen and Les Charles. The show is set in the eponymous bar in Boston, where a group of locals meet to drink, relax, socialize, and escape from their day to day issues.

Barney & Friends is an American children's television series targeted at children aged 2–7, created by Sheryl Leach. The series first aired on PBS on April 6, 1992, and features Barney, a purple anthropomorphic Tyrannosaurus rex who conveys educational messages through songs and small dance routines with a friendly, huggable and optimistic attitude. The series ended on November 2, 2010, although new videos were still released on various dates after the last episode aired. Reruns aired on Sprout from 2005 to 2015, and from December 17, 2018 to January 25, 2020 on Sprout's successor network, Universal Kids. On October 6, 2015, the series was initially renewed for revival with a new season to premiere in 2017, but that season was cancelled. A CGI-animated series will air on Cartoon Network's Cartoonito and stream on Max.

In this stage show, Barney & his friends go around the world with the power of imagination. The video of the stage show was taped at the Dodge Theater in Phoenix, Arizona in March 2004, and released in September 2004.
