Jonathan Langdon (born December 17, 1987) is a Canadian actor from Pickering, Ontario, [1] best known for his supporting role as Hudson in the television series Run the Burbs . [2]
His credits include the film Trap , television series Run the Burbs and Game On , [3] Utopia Falls , NOS4A2 and Robyn Hood , the Zombies films and Zombies: The Re-Animated Series , and the television film Faith Heist . [4] He was also formerly part of the sketch comedy troupe The Sketchersons, [5] and the sketch comedy duo Hackett & Langdon with Brandon Hackett. [6]
Langdon is also voicing Barney the Dinosaur in the 2024 animated series Barney's World . [7]
He was a triple Canadian Screen Award nominee at the 12th Canadian Screen Awards in 2024, receiving nods for Best Supporting Performance in a Comedy Series for Run the Burbs, Best Performance in a Television Film or Miniseries for Faith Heist: A Christmas Caper, and Ensemble Performance in a Drama Series for Robyn Hood. Barney & Friends is an American children's television series targeted at children aged two to five, created by Sheryl Leach. The series first aired on PBS on April 6, 1992, and features Barney, a purple anthropomorphic Tyrannosaurus rex who conveys educational messages through songs and small dance routines with a friendly, huggable and optimistic attitude. The series ended on November 2, 2010, although new videos were still released on various dates after the last episode aired. Reruns aired on Sprout from 2005 to 2015, and from December 17, 2018 to January 25, 2020 on Sprout's successor network, Universal Kids. On October 6, 2015, the series was initially renewed for revival with a new season to premiere in 2017, but that never came to fruition. A CGI-animated series will air on Cartoon Network's Cartoonito and stream on Max.
Martin Hayter Short is a Canadian-American comedian, actor, and writer. Short is known as an energetic comedian who gained prominence for his roles in sketch comedy. He has also acted in numerous films and television shows. He has received various awards including two Primetime Emmy Awards, and a Tony Award. Short was made an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2019.
