Debu Majumdar (born 2 November 1976) is an Indian former cricketer. He played one first-class match for Bengal in 1999/00. [1]

Ashok Dinda is a former Indian cricketer and as of 2021 a Member of the Legislative Assembly. Dinda is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and represents the Moyna constituency. He played cricket for Bengal and Goa in the Ranji Trophy and for a variety of Indian Premier League sides. He retired from all forms of cricket on 2 February 2021.
The 2003 Cricket World Cup Final was a One Day International (ODI) match played on 23 March 2003 at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa. Ganadevata is a 1978 Bengali drama film directed by Tarun Majumdar, based on a novel by same name by Tarashankar Bandopadhyay. The film stars Soumitra Chatterjee, Ajitesh Bannerjee, Samit Bhanja, Rabi Ghosh and Anup Kumar in lead roles. The epic novel is set in the 1920s during the British Raj, about the breakdown of socio-economic structures, impact of industrialization and non-cooperation movement in rural Bengal. It had also won the writer Bandopadhyay, the1967Jnanpith Award.

Vidarbha won the tournament, beating Delhi by 9 wickets in the final, to win their first Ranji Trophy title. Vidarbha made their Ranji Trophy debut in the 1957–58 season, making it the third-longest wait before a team won their maiden title. Vidarbha's captain, Faiz Fazal, said that "winning the Ranji Trophy has been the biggest achievement in my career".
