The Deckers Creek Trail is a rail trail located in West Virginia.
The 19-mile (31 km) trail climbs a 2% grade, rising 1,000 feet (300 m) in elevation as it runs through the deciduous forests, hemlock groves, open fields and farmlands in Preston County. [1]
Together with the Mon River Trail and Caperton Trail, it forms a 48-mile (77 km) network of multi-use, non-motorized use, trails connecting Marion County, Monongalia County and Preston County.

Conococheague Creek, a tributary of the Potomac River, is a free-flowing stream that originates in Pennsylvania and empties into the Potomac River near Williamsport, Maryland. It is 80 miles (129 km) in length, with 57 miles (92 km) in Pennsylvania and 23 miles (37 km) in Maryland. The watershed of Conococheague Creek has an area of approximately 566 square miles (1,470 km2), out of which only 65 square miles (170 km2) are in Maryland.
Redstone Old Fort — or Redstone Fort or Fort Burd — on the Nemacolin Trail, was the name of the French and Indian War-era wooden fort built in 1759 by Pennsylvania militia colonel James Burd to guard the ancient Indian trail's river ford on a mound overlooking the eastern shore of the Monongahela River in what is now Fayette County, Pennsylvania near, or on the banks of Dunlap's Creek at the confluence. The site is unlikely to be the same as an earlier fort the French document as Hangard dated to 1754 and which was confusedly, likely located on the nearby stream called Redstone Creek. Red sandstones predominate the deposited rock column of the entire region.
The Mon–Fayette Expressway is a tolled freeway that is planned to eventually link Interstate 68 near Morgantown, West Virginia with Interstate 376 near Monroeville, Pennsylvania. The ultimate goal of the highway is to provide a high speed north–south connection between Morgantown and the eastern side of Pittsburgh while revitalizing economically distressed Monongahela River Valley towns in Fayette and Washington counties, serving as an alternative to Interstate 79 to the west, as well as relieving the PA 51 alignment from Pittsburgh to Uniontown.

Root River State Trail is a 60-mile (97 km) paved multi-use rail trail system in southeast Minnesota. The trail system consists of two main segments, the Root River segment, and Harmony-Preston Valley segment. The trails are used mainly for bicycling, hiking, and inline skating in the summer, and for cross country skiing in the winter. Much of the trail, especially the Root River segment, is built along a former Milwaukee Road railbed following the contours of the Root River valley. The trail was originally paved in the 1980s, and repaved by June 2008.
Deckers Creek is a 24.6-mile-long (39.6 km) tributary of the Monongahela River that runs through north-central West Virginia. It begins west of Arthurdale and flows southeast, then north, then northwest towards Morgantown, where it empties into the Monongahela River. The stream has been contaminated by various sources, though largely due to extractive resource mining and improper sewage disposal. Recently, a conservation effort has been launched and conditions are improving, as the area continues to develop for recreational purposes.
The Sheepskin Trail is a non-motorized rail-trail in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. It is planned to eventually link the Great Allegheny Passage trail system near Dunbar to the Mon River Trail system at the Pennsylvania/West Virginia state line near Point Marion. Currently, due to funding restrictions, the trail is only opened for 2.1 miles (3.4 km) from the Great Allegheny Passage junction to the Dunbar town center, where there is parking and a comfort station available for public use.
The Wheeling Heritage Trails are two trails in Wheeling, West Virginia. The Ohio River Trail is a 14-mile (23 km) long mixed use rail trail along the Ohio River, while the Wheeling Creek Trail follows Wheeling Creek from downtown Wheeling to Elm Grove.
