Deepak Kadam (born 5 January ) is director of various video albums, ad films, TV serials and Marathi feature films as well as an actor and producer. Born and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mumbai University He became a director and actor who has accumulated many years of experience on Marathi stage and feature films. His upcoming movie Waakya was screened at Navi Mumbai International Film Festival. [1] [2] As well as "Best social issue film award" in "NIFF".In Sawnskruti kala Darpan film was nominated.later on film was selected in Maharashtra government Award. "NAGARSEVAK Ek Nayak"Megha star block buster movie successfully released 31 march 2017 13 Oct.2017 Waakya 21 awarded movie released.. And "ATROCITY" block buster movie released 23 Feb 2018... Collection of ATROCITY was 3.15 cr.its on social base movie.

Dhag is an Indian Marathi film directed by Shivaji Lotan Patil. The story of the film is of a young boy wanting to break the successions of traditional jobs in his low caste family. Ltd. The film was released in national and international film festivals.

Waakya is a 2017 Indian Marathi-language film. The story focuses on a tribal area in need of education, and was written and directed by Deepak Kadam. It stars Master Panshul Kamod and Priyanka Dnyanlaxmi as the eponymous leads. The film Waakya was chosen out of 280 Films from 35 countries for screening at the Mumbai International Film Festival. The film is expected to be released theatrically.

Sumitra Bhave–Sunil Sukthankar Indian filmmaker duo

Sumitra Bhave and Sunil Sukthankar were an Indian filmmaker duo working predominantly in Marathi cinema and Marathi theatre. Bhave and Sukthankar had made seventeen feature films, more than fifty short films, and four TV serials; all of which had been written by Bhave. Sunil Sukthankar, a Film and Television Institute of India graduate (1989) is also an actor and a lyricist. He has written more than 90 songs for their own films as well as various other Marathi and Hindi films. The duo had won various national and international accolades for the films Doghi (1995), Dahavi Fa (2002), Vastupurush (2002), Devrai (2004), Astu (2016) and Kaasav (2017). At the 64th National Film Awards, their feature film Kaasav won the prestigious President Golden Lotus National Award.
