The Dawn Parade were a British rock band from Bury St Edmunds formed in 2000. Greg McDonald was the main songwriter, and also provided vocals and guitar.

Hefner were a British indie rock band formed in east London in 1995. They were active from about 1996 until 2002; since then they have played together only once, for a tribute to the DJ John Peel, who was a strong supporter of theirs.
The Groundhogs were an English blues and rock band founded in late 1963 in London. Named after John Lee Hooker's song "Ground Hog Blues", they were part of the burgeoning British rhythm and blues scene, backing Hooker on his album ...And Seven Nights. They were predominantly a power trio of Tony McPhee, Peter Cruickshank (bass) and Ken Pustelnik (drums), with Clive Brooks replacing Pustelnik in 1972 until the band split in 1974. They issued seven albums via Liberty/UA, including the UK Top 10 Thank Christ for the Bomb, Split and Who Will Save the World?.
Big Ones is a compilation album released in 1989 by the Canadian rock band Loverboy. The album was the band's first compilation, including hit tracks such as "Working for the Weekend" and "Lovin' Every Minute of it". The compilation includes 3 new studio tracks: "For You", "Ain't Looking for Love" and "Too Hot". It was also released in the same year that the band decided to break up a second time, and another compilation would not be released until five years later.
Peel Sessions is an EP by the San Diego, California rock band Hot Snakes, released in 2005 by Swami Records. It was recorded in the Fall of 2004 while the band was on tour in the UK, for broadcast on BBC Radio 1's John Peel program. Hot Snakes would be one of the last groups to record such a session, as Peel died shortly afterwards. It is also the only Hot Snakes release not to feature artwork created by singer/guitarist Rick Froberg.
The Text of Festival is an archive album by Hawkwind consisting of BBC sessions and live performances between 1970 and 1971. It was originally released in 1983 after the band had exited their Active Records contract, and has continuously been repackaged and retitled ever since.
The Edsel Auctioneer were a band formed in Leeds in 1988 by Ashley Horner, Phil Pettler, Aidan Winterburn and Chris Cooper (drums). They were named after the ill-fated Ford automobile whose front grille was supposed to have resembled a woman's pudenda. Best friends with Pale Saints, they lived on the same street in Leeds, Harold Avenue.
Peel Sessions 1979–1983 is a compilation album by English electronic band Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), released in 2000. The songs were recorded between 1979 and 1983 for the BBC Radio 1 show presented by John Peel. "Electricity" is added as a bonus track and is the original version that was featured on their debut single on Factory Records (FAC6). "Bunker Soldiers" was recorded for the first and fourth sessions; the version from the fourth session was not released on this album.

The Peel Sessions is an EP that was released in 1988 of music recorded by Echo & the Bunnymen for a John Peel radio show in 1979. The tracks on the EP were recorded in studio number four at BBC Radio's Maida Vale Studios on 15 August 1979 and they were first transmitted on The John Peel Show on BBC Radio 1 on 22 August 1979. The EP reached number seven on the UK Indie Chart.
Little Doses are a Scottish alternative rock band from Edinburgh, Scotland, who were formed in 2006. The band comprises lead vocalist Kirsten Ross, Mark McClelland on bass guitar, Michael Branagh on drums and backing vocals, Chris Alderson and Mike Skinner on guitar. They released their debut album, Rock Riot Soul on McClelland's Black Ditto Recordings label in March 2012.

Friends of the Stars, originally known as Buick 6, formed in Birmingham in the late 1990s and quickly became a popular live band associated with the burgeoning alternative country movement and known for catchy, classic songwriting and soaring three-part vocal harmonies. The original line-up, consisting of Craig Hamilton, Anna Russell, Jez Ince, James Summerfield and Nick Wilkinson released two singles on Winnebago Records. After replacing Wilkinson with former Novak drummer Phil Robinson, the band recorded a John Peel session before being forced to change their name following legal threats from an Irish band of the same name.
The Moderates were a Liverpool band who had a large local following in the late 1970s and early 1980s and championed by John Peel on his BBC Radio 1 show.
John Peel Session is an EP by the Finnish band Deep Turtle. The songs were recorded live at the Maida Vale Studios, London on 9 October 1994 for John Peel's Radio 1 show, broadcast on 11 October 1994. Deep Turtle was the first Finnish band invited on the show. The session was later released on a 7" single and CD by the indie label Bad Vugum.
The End of Radio is a 2019 album by Shellac. The album contains two previously unreleased recordings made for the BBC Radio One's John Peel Show in 1994 and 2004. Steve Albini has spoken about his admiration for John Peel, stating that "he listened religiously to every single record he received in the mail, devoting hours of every day to the task".
