Dekh Magar Pyaar Say is a 2015 Pakistani romantic comedy film directed by Asad ul Haq and produced by Ali Murtaza [1] under the production banner Shiny Toy Guns. The film was the directorial debut for Haq. The movie starred Humaima Malick and Sikander Rizvi in the lead roles. [2] The latter made his film debut with the movie. [3]

Production

The film was produced, financed and developed by Shiny Toy Guns. [6] The styling for the movie was done by Saima Rashid Bargfrede. Shehryar Yasin was hired as the Creative and Fashion Design Director for the movie. [3]

Casting

On 2 April 2015 Humaima Malick and Sikander Rizvi were confirmed as the lead actors. [3] Amna Ilyas was cast for an item song "Kaala Doriya". [7]

Filming

The film was mostly shot in Lahore over a 45-day period [8] with filming wrapping up in the week of 18 May. [9] The cast and crew were spotted in London shooting scenes for the movie. [10] The cast and crew were reportedly filming bonus footage for the movie in London. [11]

Marketing

On 2 April 2015 the first teaser poster for the movie was released. [3] Motion poster was revealed on 2 June. The teaser trailer for the movie was released on 1 July via the movie's official Facebook page. [12] [13] To promote the movie, fans were given the opportunity to view the filming of the bonus footage being shot in London via the Periscope app. [11] The movie was also promoted using the hashtag "magarpyaarsay". The theatrical trailer was revealed online on 12 July 2015.

Shah is a 2015 Pakistani biographical sports film directed and written by Adnan Sarwar. Taqi Ahmed is a Pakistani television and film actor. Mostly known for his work in Urdu serials, Ahmed did his acting course from the National Academy of Performing Arts and then struggled at various platforms for acting break. His debut series was Dekh Magar Pyar Se aired in 2011 on Aaj TV. In 2019, he made his film debut with Tevar opposite Sukaina Khan.

Adla Khan is a Pakistani actress. She is known for her roles in dramas Kaisi Aurat Hoon Main, Kasak Rahay Ge, Baba Jani, Tera Yahan Koi Nahin, Inteqam and Fitrat.

Ghulam Abbas is a Pakistani radio, television, and film singer. He is known for his 'ghazals', 'geets', and playback singing for Urdu and Punjabi movies. He has won 4 Nigar Awards as a playback singer and received Tamgha-i-Imtiaz by the President of Pakistan in 2011.
